Only negative is the lack of tongue gussets which kind of defeats the waterproof feature

However, I would suggest that the boots are not proper all weather walking boots as the tongue is not the 'bellows' type and water will enter the boot halfway up.

These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn.

but they were extremely comfortable from the first time I put them on (I did experience very minor discomfort in my right arch the first couple of times I wore them, and not sure if that's down to a slight difference in my feet or in the sole, but it didn't persist.)
