So stiff and the footbed just doesn't feel right at all. Shame.

Initially they were a bit stiff and do need some break in time.

They take same time wearing in, very very stiff new.

Bottoms are thick and pretty stiff initially.

Took them on a 1.5 mile walk the first day I got them and they will definitely require some wear to break them in – they feel a little “clunky” when you first wear them, and I find them a little heavy… at least compared to other hiking type shoes I’ve owned.

Overall I think they are a really good shoe for the all the usage I have put them through from just walking, to running around the yard with the kids, to working in them on all kinds of surfaces.

This product is a very strong pair of hiking sneakers, shoes, sneakers etc.

That being said the shoe fits great, and cinches down on my foot like a champ.

The water resistance is superb and doesn’t give me mushy socks when I stride into a puddle.

I like that they will keep my feet dry when the grass is wet in the mornings or on rainy days.

They have the feel of something that will last maybe 9 months, which is fine for me since they are just for around the house, weekend, and yard use for me.

I usually wear a 7 and I ordered a 6.5 and they were still a little bit big.

The insole started to smell badly after getting wet, so not good for people wanting to wear around a pool.

The size that was delivered was a Men’s 11.5, and was black and white, not all black as I ordered.

they fit tight, I wear 12 I order these in 13 as I order most of my work boots, and like most work boots, one size up, they fit right, and better with insoles.

I wore them on a work trip, and when it was inadvertently extended a couple of days, I walked into a shoe store, tried on a pair of sneakers, felt instant relief, and walked up to the counter with these in my hand to pay for the sneakers.

I work in a metal foundry and these boots handle the rigors of the job so far.

I picked up a pair of DR> Shols heavy-duty work inserts and noticed the instant relief and change.. they by far are not your grandaddy's work boots so don't expect to hand them down

That being said, they are great work boots,

So, here we go, I am NOT going to compare these with a $200+ work boots, while these are very good, I am not ready to compare them to my heavy duty ones.

if these last me 6 months, they will be worth it as I change $200 work boots every 6 months anyway.

but, for around $10 you can get a very good pair of heavy duty insoles from many brands, and everything is fixed.
