The shoestrings or like thread ,horrible..

If they weren't tied, I'd walk right out of the shoe.

My only complaints are that the laces tend to untie by themselves a bit more than other brands that I've worn, and that the soles squeak just a tiny bit on the cheap "school-safe" wax that my employer now uses - note that they squeak only a tiny little bit, and not as bad as other shoes that I've had or heard.

ANYWAYS these shoes feel as comfortable as the MADE IN USA New Balance Athletic shoes I owned in the past which were 10.5 4E these Rockys here are 10.5EW that I have.

-These shoes seem to be built very sturdy, the uppers are leather and sturdy and the bottom sole of the shoe seems to be strong and solid unlike most other athletic shoes, even New Balance.

My favorite slip in shoes , it provide good support and comfort .

but they still stay on and not falling off so I kept them because they are really comfortable, and I couldn't find anything like these that are as good.

The cross trainers above are larger than the tennis shoe version (623X tennis shoes) I had earlier (out of stock, discontinued-don't remember) by about 1/2 size.

Although Amazon has a generous return policy, I had to wear them a bit to find out they were over sized.

New Balance isn't consistent size wise

but my work boots kinda look like I've kicking the hell out of things.

BUT after 3 months, the sole is starting to separate from the leather boot.

VERY disappointed because I really like the boots and thought they were a good choice until I saw they’re falling apart.

Would be a great Boot
The top hooks are not made well they are bulky and stick out just put regular hooks on, they catch on things and come Unhooked too easy, regular hooks and you  would  have a great boot

New boots are needed so that the braces won't deform.

These boots were not returned because we ordered them for the date that his custom ankle braces were expected to be ready.

but the return took weeks and by then it was too late to return the boots.

but the 'speed lacer' type eyelet ripped out at the first effort to tension the boots' laces.

6E fits like a 2E
These boots are eather mis sized or thay run extreamly narrow

Xx-wide fits 4e foot
As another reviewer mentioned, these run a bit narrow, which as I've been trying to buy boots for my wide feet seems to be a common theme for boots.

Using the wider scooplike opening puts far too much stress on the outer edge of the lacer and rips it out without too much trouble.

I typically wear a 4e new balance athletic shoe, and the xx-wide (supposedly 6e) of this boot fit the width of my feet well.

They’re comfortable to walk in and stand in all day.

These fit just like I thought they would and they look great too.
