To get a comfortable fit I had to adjust laces to the max, which applied greater pressure on my metatarsal then other lacing systems.

These have a lot of holes for ventilation so they definitely wouldn’t work for me if I wanted to wear them in the winter.

but the mesh top "holes" are fairly large.

It's upper is literally webbed, seeing your sock right through the holes.

The sole started wearing very quickly even while almost exclusively using them for track and treadmill workouts,

But I just did a longer run on the roads and came home with an enormous chunk of the sole missing!

The sole has little extra rubber for outsole protection, so the longevity of the shoe will almost certainly be less than most.

I wear all New Balance, this is a great shoe!

I adore my New Balance Rebels version 1 and version 2, which are "speedy" non-carbon-plated shoes using gel-like Fuelcell foam that is fast and smooth.

These shoes are so steady and comfortable!
