other concerns which i will update as i wear them more is that they do a weird crimping effect, where the toe bends the plastic there can cut into your upper foot from the tongue as you walk.

I tried several different New Balance shoes, so far this one is the winner for my medium arch, narrow heeled feet with moderate bunions.

f  the dlb wide width is very good, there is enough room at the toes now too.

There was plenty of space between the end of my toe and the end of the shoe.

I buy these because I cannot find another running shoe that fits these "crazy" feet.

But the best ones to wear are the ones that fit you.

These shoes are well made and fit like normal shoes everywhere else.

I have some foot issues, including bunions, and these are great -- wide toe box, plenty of cushioning.

Finally shoes with a wide enough toe box!!

but for short walks they do the job there are comfortable with an inbuilt high arch and dlb wide width.

Nice navy blue color, plenty of width in the toe box in the wide, nice material in the upper if you need a little stretch for your bunions.

The same shoe in the size 9 wide navy does not have the problem. In the grey version I ordered (very pretty color!)

These were too big and couldn’t be tightened because the laces were elastic.

but the only downfall is these elastic laces are just a bit loose, and the elastic stretches out easily.

I had to cut out the elastic laces and replace them with regular tennis show laces.

The reason for the 3 star rating: After cutting the tag off these sneakers and discarding the box when my son gave them the thumbs up, I realized the laces are FIXED and UNADJUSTABLE.

There is no way to loosen or tighten them because the tops of the laces are glued to the shoe!

It was still problematic because the top hole (where the original ones were glued) was unusable for the new laces.

The sneakers are still somewhat loose because my son can't lace and cinch the new laces as high as he should be able to.

BUT, I will absolutely make sure I never purchase sneakers with unadjustable, fixed laces again!

After wearing them for a couple days, my son commented on how loose they felt.

The elastic is not hefty and they already started to lose elasticity.

It would not take much time for them to become way too loose.

I have never tried New Balance for my 3 almost 4 year old before.

These little New Balance shoes fit him perfectly.

I've been pleased with New Balance in the past and will continue to purchase their products.

These New Balance shoes not only look great and are almost half the price of the Tsukihoshi shoes we bought; they also are VERY roomy in the toe area--no more red marks for us!

It is my absolute favorite of all the amount of shoes ever purchased for my kids, this is hands down the most amazing pair.

It does not require the kids to tie (faster for kids to put on), comfort fit, great colors and design, no snagging on the tongue of shoes nor does it elastic on the “laces” become loose!

Even my kids say it’s now their favorite.

Wished the shoes industry would make more of these for kids!!

I appreciate how the entire sole is rubber and not mostly foam like other kids' sneakers.

After a month, not at all water resistant.

The clams of waterproof is not exactly correct mine leak slightly through the stitches on the toe when walking in long wet grass.

Sometimes, some water seeps through the cracks.

My Mistake
I accidentally ordered a men’s size so they were too big and I returned them.

Quality Control is going down
Last year I purchased a pair of Fitville Golf Shoes sz 10 EW, and they were and still are fantastic.

Now, I just purchased these pair in the same exact size,  10EW as you can see on the box, and the width is not the same.

Being an older gent my width of toes has spread as I am aging, there's no chance I can wear the normally skinny Trainers/Walking shoes from an average shoe shop without discomfort after the first mile.

But they don't get 5 stars because of a few flaws I've noticed: 1) the material in the back of the shoe (near the heel/ankle) seems to be sliding down (/bunching up) inside the fabric.

They fit almost exactly like The New Balance men's 608 sneakers which are the only sneakers I can wear given my wide foot.

Had these shoes Almost a year and they hold up fairly well to moderate to light use.

the only saving grace is that they are comfortable.

The wide fit for me was good they are comfortable and supportive.

But they are quite comfortable to wear and walk in, and are a low-top so better for different scenarios.

I have difficult feet , with high arch and wide toe area.

No other shoe I tried other than sketchers relemont wide,fits similarly.

I walk my dog in the morning when there's still dew out and these sneakers will keep the water out MOST of the time.

I found that the size 5 wide was too large for me
