I think I got a returned pair as there was no stuffing and the shoes were kinda just thrown in the box same direction.. 2. the glue is all over the heels 3. been wearing hush puppies all my life and never had a pair that was too small.

These shoes, while attractive and well-made, were almost a size too large and I had to return them.

Let me start by saying I love hush puppies!

but I really like the way they fit overall so I kept them.

It fits around my bunions without needing shoe stretch spray, and there is no toe cleavage.

These are very comfortable and supportive little flats.

The leather soles are Blake welted, not Goodyear welted, so if I were a young guy seeking shoes to withstand decades of daily use and resoling, I don't know if I would pay the $178 for them, because Blake welting is more expensive to resole.

The only thing of note with shoes of this type(leather sole) is you need to be careful on slippery surfaces as the soles  are stick until broken in.

Fit is narrow and very tight around the ankle compared to any other shoes I’ve owned, and is very uncomfortable at the ankles if walking very far.

The only thing I find lacking is the laces.
