The bottom is made from a very hard and not bendable material.

but if you have flat feet like me, the sole has a hard arch built into it.

The only reason for a 4 star rather than 5 review rating is the bottom of these - they are slick.

I much prefer they'd have a little rubberish grip to them instead of a hard plastic bottom.

These fit right out of the box in size 9 womens/7 men.

but just using the size 9 in these worked great!

So, the shoes are way too small, and I have to go through the inconvenience of having to return them!

There is slight scuffing on both boots and the soles were a mess with dirt, gravel and such.

The insides had a couple of little fuzzballs from socks rubbing.

Fortunately upon a very thorough inspection of the full inner, I could detect no odors or any other debris and so on.

I can wear them with pants or dresses/skirts so I'm excited to look cute once more.
