These Rockports composite safety shoes had mixed reviews

I have now worn them daily for several occasions and they are so comfortable that I do not need to change shoes after work when going out for a business dinner.

They are light and if you work in the office and go in the plant or need some to go into customers that require it these are fine

but overall a great alternative for people who need composite toe footwear but don't want to wear boots.

Amazon continues their trend of failing me…
Seller (Harrisons USA) sent the incorrect size and has not responded to my reaching out to them to workout the issue so I am now returning within the 30 day return period.

Since I live in a rural area and Amazon no longer picks up Prime returns without additional UPS charges, so I have to pay to return these shoes or spend my time and fuel taking them to a UPS drop off (part of why I am seriously considering canceling my Prime membership) My rating for the seller, Harrisons USA, is zero stars.

My rating for Amazon Prime (free returns - especially when their seller made the mistake) is also zero stars.

Fit big not comfortable
The shoes did not fit like the last florsheim work shoes I had.

I ordered an 11.5 3E (extra wide) and the shipped an 11.5 D (regular width).

There is little to no cushion to these shoes.

The shoe seemed like it may be a good choice for a steel toe shoe that looked somewhat fashionable and could also be worn in the office with the occasional trip into the warehouse.

Extremely comfortable boot I work on a flight line and taken these boots on deployment with me and they held strong.

After 10 years and two deployments to the middle east, these are BY FAR the most comfortable and lightest boots I've ever owned.

My only complaint is that the leather haa started to peel in one spot.

The leather is soft, maybe too soft as it scuffs and scratches fairly easily.

After the first 2-3 days of working in them the welt cracked in a few places around the heel on both boots.

The leather will likely rip or crack, and the outsole will go “flat”.

It doesn’t feel like a solid base like I would expect from a work boot.

but i can tell after the few months I’ve worn them it won’t be long before they need new insoles.

The fact is the Shoes went up by $10 dollars when I reorder them now that I order some more the show price is now $10 cheaper.

So it seems like I paid for the return shipping even tho it said free.

But they are sturdy enough to work in demolition areas, while easy to put on and off when coming back home or at the office for a meal or a meeting.

Bought ones with compression toe and low and behold too big also.

but for now, they are really stiff and where the boot does bend in the step it folds in an uncomfortable way on my foot.

WARNING: Unfortunately the boots are "NOT" slip proof when on a wet and slippery surface.

Please be aware with concern, you need to consider the boot tread is like being on ice skates when working in a subzero freezer.

This is something I don't like hearing even on an eight month old boot.

That's the sound that means my boot is no longer waterproof and water will be coming in through the sole.
