Rather, my foot tore straight through the suede. Bummer!

but all that wear has stretched the suede out of shape.

but not large enough to include a simple insert.

The soles are fairly thin -- thin enough that if you step on a split pea that you'll feel that it's a split pea and not a golf ball.

A sharp steel object would penetrate the sole, so don't wear these on a construction site.

The foot support is non-existent and will hurt your feet and back if you wear too long without insoles.

The sole of the shoe is not great; I seem to catch my foot on the carpet a lot with these shoes, and i feel it is because of the mini heel; I feel they would be better served with a slightly larger heel, or no heel at all.

but they’re just lacking in construction and particularly in the heel.

but once you wear out that little bit of material on the outside… no more heel.

Nor do the heels stick out behind the shoe causing your ankle to work against leverage when driving.

The caveat is that I bought them a half size too small.

This shoe was much too large for me in a 10.5, and it felt like it might be more than a half size large.

They run slightly small, so order half a size bigger.

CON: I bought them in October and they have already busted.

There is a tear on the toe that is not able to be repaired.

but I spent what I wanted to spend for this style and I'd wear them.

In terms of value for money, I would say that these shoes are priced just about right.

If you're looking for an inexpensive, dress-code worthy shoe that offers the comfort of dockers with a business casual look, these are what you want.

For the price, these shoes are spectacular.

All in all it is a good priced starter Oxford.

Lately I'm into shoes of this style and when I first saw this, it was a grab deal.

Very comfortable and goes well with my work attire!

I wore them for a few weeks without inserts, and once they had relaxed and stretched a bit I put the inserts in and they fit just fine.

Unfortunately, they didn't last too long which led me to buying 2 new pairs of the same model and size, and they are super tight!!!!

Don't Be Fooled By Sale Price & Sizes WAY Too Large
So we originally bought these shoes on a special Black Friday 'sale' only to discover a month later that these shoes are always on 'sale' at the same price.

So we ordered a size 9 and it was a CLOWN SHOE they were so big.

Seriously, read the other reviews, these shoes are way off size.

So we returned those and ordered a size 8 since the size 9 was so incredibly big and then THOSE ended up being way too big as well.

So we returned the size 8 and ordered a size 7.

Since there are no half sizes, we ended up sending those back as well.

I bought my fiancee a pair of these shoes since he needs a brown pair.

He is a 10 1/2 so I ordered the 10 and they are still large so he may not be able to wear them.

The main issue I had was the rubber on the bottom of the shoes kept coming off.

but would prefer something with a bit more cushion.

Original Review: I didn't mind them the first time I bought this product, fit great and priced fairly.

This is about the shoe I would expect for the price I paid.

purchaned these shoes for my 15 year old son who has such a large foot its hard to find him comfortable dress shoes.

but they broke in after a few days and now they are very comfortable.

but they look very nice and 2 months in there is no sign of cracking anywhere yet.

The price is so reasonable that after I got them I ordered two more colors.

The 6.5 feeks great and dont look as large on my feet.

I use these as house shoes as both my feet are in terrible shape from surgeries.

Yet, it's worth it as they have good support and are comfortable to wear all day.

The slippers definitely run small and were pretty tight across the top of my foot.

However, they run a tad small for the size.

Had to return and reorder a size up from my regular size.

I should have ordered a larger size (11-1/2) instead.

but the only downside of it is, when you order them, you have go a "size up" from your normal shoe size.

I actually wear a size 11 in dress shoes, so I had to order a size 12 to compensate for them not being long enough to accommodate my foot.

it tends to slide down an inch (not to where the boot falls off or bothers my daughter though) and the tie on the zipper is fragile.

My daughter wears a 3, and the 3 in these are too big.

There's some type of rise in the area of the metatarsal area of the shoe which is making my feet uncomfortable.

Second, like others who have posted here, they were quite painful on my ankles.

I do have some discomfort when I walk, as the steel toe digs in slightly where my toes meet my foot.

Anyway ordered the same thing from CAT through amazon and they are more than an inch to large (felt like clown shoes)  to get 0.5 size smaller is $20 more.

For me, It does fit maybe 1/2 size too large.

but not to the point that others have noted on their own reviews(just speaking for my own experience) where I felt that I might need to return them for a half size smaller.

Number 1- I ordered a half size smaller than my normal size based on other reviews I saw about them being oversized, and the overall size is still probably a half size too large.

but I'm on the fence about returning them.

And, they are so comfortable (CAT always has the W option for my large feet) that I often forget to remove them until I get home!

Comfortable, Safe, and Tough
About four years ago, I switched from Red Wing to CAT metal toed foot ware.

I recommend these comfortable, safe, and tough warehouse shoes.

though these shoes are comfortable, feel very sturdy and can see them lasting for a long time.

I bought these shoes for my partner, and they just arrived today, so I can’t speak to their longevity,

but they fit perfectly from first try-on, so it’s a good start.

Shoes are amazing, some of the best I've bought in awhile, I have some large feet, on most brands I wear a 15w, or a 15(2e) I would recommend going a full size smaller if you have larger feet.
