but hard to put on due to small opening,  I normally wear a lace up style but had broken my wrist and was looking for a slip on style shoe,  I couldn't just 'slip ' this on.

The sole still slips a bit on wet cement,

It also happens that in sunny Southern California where I live, despite the drought, it actually rained last night and the long  concrete driveway was slippery. Oops!

Maybe even -- despite the lugs -- kind of slick.

And while the tan still is ugly, I'll confess -- I broke down and got a black version of these because I have so many black jeans and the black looks better with the jeans, even if all I'm doing is dog walking.

UPDATE:  I WORE THEM ALL DAY yesterday and they loosened up so much that my feet were actually sort of sloshing around in them when I went on my dog walk today.

These shoes, that are supposed to be stable and good for dog walking, actually SLID on the concrete.

But need to find some of those heel cushion things and some really thick socks, then maybe they will stop flipping and flopping when I walk.

although there is a tab or loop (you can see it in the photo) behind the heel to use  for pulling them on that loop is a joke.

Also, I ordered my regular size figuring they'd have a little give if I wanted to wear socks. Nope.

Be aware that it is a very snug shoe and not easy to put on because the opening is small.


I'm very happy with the white Propet work shoes.They are exactly what I've been looking for in a work shoe.I ordered 2 pairs and may keep 1 pair,just for casual wearing.They look amazing,and very comfortable.

Very comfortable for walking
Got these shoes to replace an older pair for walking around Paris on vacation.

The Amazon recommendation was to size up a half size, which i did

but they aren't ugly and they are comfortable walk in.

but because of the elasticized opening they felt snug and secure to walk in and they still felt great and not too tight at end of day even though my feet had swollen up as usual.

With the custom orthotic, it actually is quite comfortable.

The black ones were lots more comfortable than the mushroom ones were right off the bat.

If I had not worn those other shoes, I might think these were fairly comfortable.

The box came with one heel pad that can be added for a perfect fit.

Fit well and provide great support for walking, or just daily wear for doing errands.

I have worn Propets in the past. Now that I am in my 70s, I wanted a good, reliable walking shoe that didn't look "seniorly."

Because since the shoe has been broken in, and since I put my own orthotic in it, and since it has softened up quite a bit, I have come to see its value as a walking shoe.

But like any shoe after a few hours your feet are going to hurt any way.

They hurt my feet like heck from the beginning and after 2 weeks I gave up and sent them back.

(i thought it was normal for the shoes to hurt as my feet adjusted,

These put the pressure on the side of my big toe :( stil, they stretch a bit so hopefully it won't be much of an issue.

However, the bottom sole started to come apart.

I wish manufacturers would keep the whole front section of the shoe wide not just base of it.

Decent shoes just didn't last for me
I've only had this for  about 2mo and can't gaurantee that this shoe will last me a year like my shoes for crews shoes.

I began getting hole at the front, which honestly I wouldn't much.

Lo and behold, Propet makes BOOTS in my size as well!

After 3 weeks of use, I  can saw they are the best pair of work shoes I have ever purchased.

So I'm definitely going to get a pair to try as well, because of how well these shoes work.

They are extremely comfortable,  with a toe box that is plenty wide.

but still very comfortable, with a properly wide nose section and at a fraction of what I paid for either of my 2 latest pairs.

These fit as expected, and they are super comfortable.

I got these for my husband, who has a hard time finding shoes in the width he needs.

These fit very well and he says they're comfortable to wear.

but only pain These shoes help relieve that pain enough to be able to stand and walk they are comfortable got them for about 50 bucks a pair & are well worth it.

These are incredibly comfortable and I hope they continue to be .

The 4E Avia Tangent Training shoes I had before my two latest pairs were a perfect fit.

The strings are elastic and make it easy to slip them on and off while still providing a good fit.

besides you dont have to tie them they fit great and the velcro is strong they look great without any funky colors they remind me of the 80's -90's look when white sneakers were awesome.

Potentially Perfect
I bought these 5E shoes because I walk a lot at work, and my previous 4E new balance shoes were putting way too much pressure on my little toe making it hurt.
