Size & Fit: As other reviewers have said, they run a bit big.

Except Hisea seemed to fit size 10 with insert [i.e., it runs a size+ large]. 1.

Size 10 is snug on this 9.5-10 foot [that's with sock.

but whats the purpose of half calf in these?

I've got size 8.5 feet (41) and the size 9 fits me perfectly - about .75 cm to spare at the toe snug every where else - (narrow fit)  So I'd say they fit a bit on the small side, and I would not be able to put on a thick winter sock with these.

If I had size 9 feet, I don’t think these size 9 would fit me.

Guide Gear: fits slightly looser than Seac.

Be difficult to get a good fit unless you ordered at least three pair to try on.

If you need steel toes for all day wear or for extensive walking, it might be worth paying more if you can find a lighter pair.

I wore these the first day without insoles.

I wore them all dat the next day without pain or discomfort.

They're a little wide at the top to accommodate the legs of your jeans or whatever pants you're wearing, and it helps make them easy to put on & take off.

But for wearing them around the yard or barn for an hour or two, I didn't have any noticeable fatigue.

Can wear zipped on side for real water proof needs or unzipped walking/hiking around.

These are great for Fossil hunting in shorts, wearing under BuzzOff pants, with wading overalls to stay dry in summer or winter [6mm], or walking on beaches with shells or while diving coral reefs.

They are comfortable and I could wear either around the house.

LaCrosse Diamondback snake proof boots: If I was going in snake infested area and I didn't have time to order on Amazon I'd wear these.

The ONLY option I found to wear on it's own, with waders for waterproof fishing/hunting/hiking or fossil/relic hunting [not  brand] that covers ALL the bases [Functionality, comfort, ankle support and WATERPROOF.

Bean wearing these a lot lately and have been quite happy with them.

Perfectly Fine For The Money
Overall, I believe that these are great boots FOR THE MONEY.

Well these boots I ordered in a size 10 and they fit (with the wool socks) perfectly.

But I didn't find anything that would negatively impact the actual use of the boot.

Overall Impression: Like I said, they're great boots.

If you just need a pair of cheap boots to muck around in on  weekend projects, then these boots will do just fine and won't break the bank.

Seac 6mm dive boot: fits like a shoe and almost looks like one.

If you say you want boots to hunt/hike I'd say buy the Crack Shot Snake Guardz and wrap over these and your jeans [or bare even legs}  MUCH more comfortable and versatile. 2.

Very comfortable with over calf boot [calf area appears large enough to fit the guy on the insurance commercial with the calk implants]  Fits like a true size 10.

If you're dead set on a traditional "mud boot" look these are a great choice.

This my 2nd pair that I purchased.

To me it's not anything that would detract me from buying them again.

You get what you pay for, and considering I barely paid anything, I'm 100% satisfied with my purchase.

The only DISLIKE I have is the shoe insert is NOT SEWN into the shoe, so every time you take them off the insert is pulled out with your foot.

The rubber soles offered additional grip when walking on the slippery sand and offered protection from the rocks/coral in the ocean.

They are super comfortable and fit true to size.

I’m normally a size 10, the 9 fit snug and the material stretches around your foot nicely, I purchased these for the beach and walking in the shallow surf with my dog, they stayed firmly on my foot.

Unfortunately, after I wore them a few times, the slippers stretched out enough that they became too big for me.

I found these to be a little small.

but these were a little small across the bridge of the foot and the width was a bit too snug for my liking.

Not wearable my someone with just a single width above D.  Sent them back and will not risk buying anymore Skechers from Amazon.

I love the black tip on the front of the shoe as well, to offer greater protection from wear and tare.

I also like the split design of the sole on these Skecher Edgemont shoes which allows the sole to flex far more than regular rubber soles for easier walking and bending.

They are very comfortable supportive and a big improvement over my Addias slip ons.

Kidding aside, the shoe is very comfortable and the 10 X-wide really is wide and fits great.

I purchased these shoes on September 19th.

As I write this review on October 31st, the soles of the shoes are almost completely destroyed.

My favorite feature is the thick rubber sole that protects the front of the shoe from getting too scratched up. My daughter stated it best: "Can we just get the same ones in the next size?"

They just fits perfectly and they are super comfortable for the kids

The first pair were too large, so I returned and ordered 1/2 size smaller.

Double check your foot size based on their info.

Do NOT order your normal size without first confirming with their size recommendations.

And I first ordered that size, and it was far too big, had to be returned.

They were worn and slick and I believe that is what lead to my injuries.

Now I had expensive N*ke tennis shoes I could no longer wear as they were causing me severe pain in my big toes and instep.

I had tried some shoes from N*ke and the toe box was way to narrow for my foot.

Let me add, I do NOT normally take a wide in shoes so this was very perplexing.

Only issue is they are just a tad bulky width wise.

I waited much too long past the return window.

And the tips have a rub protection for dragging your toes (on accident on the court).

Nice thick rubber base, which is important for outdoor pickleball.

I bought inserts for these and now i am loving my shoes.

Get inserts So I like that these shoes are wide and they have good grip on the volleyball court.

Not only are these shoes significantly cheaper than the name brand shoes, these are comfortable and feel good on the fencing strip!
