I wish to apologize to the seller for complaining that the size was wrong.

I ordered a pair of grey slippers size 9 at the same time & when the slipper boots arrived they were packed so tightly in plastic that they looked like the ordinary slippers I was expecting, hence my claim that the size was wrong.

then yesterday, the whole rear of the sole is torn loose.

The pair before this last pair, the soles cracked and are catching on the carpet when I walk.

The pair before that, the soles inside are hard on my feet, as the memory foam is no longer working.

The foam inner sole does lose some of it's loft after about 6 months so I insert a Dr.Scholl's Double Air-Pillow cushioning liner which makes them feel like new again.

Only small hiccup was that due to this item particular numbering (9.5 -10.5 or 11-12) I ordered the smaller one first just to find out that they were smaller than needed.

having much better luck with the Izod slippers i replaced them with.

I would like to get a replacement or a refund.

These were returned for full refund and the 11-12 worked out perfectly.

The soles of these slippers seem to hold up well.

Rocket Dog slippers are kind of hard and flat on the bottom, which feels great on my feet.

So many other slippers have rubber non slip bottoms, bought these because the DIDN't :)  They are comfy and warm.

Best quality sole I have seen for slippers - Goodyear rubber, tough with great right amount of traction.

I elected first to get the Minnetonka Driving Moc; they were slightly snug at first around the big toe ball of my foot,

But, it sure seems to me like Minnetonka just missed perfection with the thin rubber soles.

but I expect the moose-hide to last for years and it will be a real shame if the soles turn out to be the weak link and wear out long before this fine moose-hide is ready for retirement.

but typical, leather lace and if you just yank on  it without helping it slide around the slipper, it could easily break.

They will definitely last longer than the crepe soles that some slippers use.

These moose skin/fleece slippers are new to me so this is just first impression info.

The slippers seem well constructed and I cannot relate to those reviews that said they fell apart right away.

They are more than adequate for most folk's slipper use.

Even so, I am giving them five stars, because they are the closest I have come to finally finding the Perfect Slippers.

He says they are comfortable and very well made.

From the first moment, they were very comfortable.

The fleece seems more like felt which is fine for me as fleece would be too warm in my area.

They were out of the box more comfortable than the driving mocs, the moosehide being more supple and soft.

The moose-hide is super soft and very comfy.

These fit at least most of those criteria very well.
