but inside feels stiff, hard to break in, and now that I've broken it in the stiffness feels like it tires my feet out quicker than other boots, hell quicker than previous timberland boots as well.

I would recommend steering clear of timberland brand now, it feels like their longetivity is crap now just to sell more boots.

I've worn steel toe boots all my working life, I'm a mechanic working with heavy equipment.

These boots are lighter than standard steel toe boots

The break-in was so much quicker with these boots, my feet never needed a break from them during that time.

but within the hour they were the most comfortable boots I've ever had.

Last eyelet is the open kind for fast lacing which is very nice so you are not fiddling with the aglet going through the round eyelet, especially at EOD when you are taking the boots off makes it quick.

Still the same laces, insole even, tread is still very good a bit worn on back heel, boot leather is in pretty good shape

Hands down the best boot/shoe I have ever bought - at least on par with my old army boots/jungle boots as far as durability, and more comfortable than they were.

I have very wide feet and large ankles and legs due to swelling, and the top of the ankle part of the boot is very stiff and needs time to break in and make it less rigid.

At over 75, living on my horse ranch in Texas, these are even easier & quicker to put on just to feed than my tall cowboy Ariat work boots that I love.

I got these boots to work in.

They are very comfortable on the feet, with plenty of room for you to wiggle your toes and such.

That being said, they still look good, and they do not really show wear and tear either, so they are very well made.

They are easy to slip on and off and protect your feet very well while wearing them.

I've been wearing them for about a month now with zero wear and tear issues.

As far as comfort, they're acceptable as long as I'm wearing thick socks - which I tend to do anyway.

I work 12 hour shifts at a steel mill and these boots are so uncomfortable, even after breaking them in.

I can't use insoles because they make the met guard rub against my foot in an uncomfortable way.

I have narrow feet and this is the first time I've had this problem.

but my feet are killing me more then any other boot I've worn.

They run really big as I wear a 9 in shoe's so I ordered two pairs a 9 and a 8.5.

Since February 24th that I've ordered this shoe.

Found these as an alternative to another brand I ordered and waited 3 weeks and still hadn't received.

I ordered half a size up and they are a tad bit too large now.

When I first put them on and started to walk around they immediately felt terrible around the backs of my heels.

The problem with these boots is that the contour made to accommodate the heel is about ½" too low, so it only begins to curve outward at the point where the heel is already striking the back of the boot uncomfortably.

It's almost as if the people who designed the boot forgot that there would also be an insole inside, lifting the heel up.

Then they decided to put an insole with an extra thick heel pad in the boot to make the problem worse.

They also included a pair of "fit inserts" that can be placed under the insoles, raising them still further if you want to make the whole heel situation even more unbearable.

I bought these boots for three reasons: 1) To protect my feet and ankles from cactus thorns when dong landscape work on my property 2) It's easier to clean pull-on boots than tied shoes or tied boots 3) I know the brand from previous ownership of dress boots They're just fine after a month of use.

They meet my needs (see 1 & 2 above) Country of origin:  It's hard to find information online about country of origin for this boot.

My shoe size is 11.5 Med and this boot fits perfectly in a size 11.0.
