I've had rain boots in the past that were stiff even after trying to break them in and these were the complete opposite.

The down side to this is that it adds a bit of bulk under that laces and that is causing a little discomfort that was not there in the previous design.

The only difference is they have attached the tongue to help make the boots more waterproof, which is great!

They feel great from the first day you buy them and they don't need to go through the stiff break in period that you have to with most boots.

Great deal..great boots..cant ask for more than that!

They fit great and I can and have been wearing them all day.Before wearing them I treated them with a healthy dose of mink oil by covering them with a paste type mink oil then sitting them in a sightly warmed oven to melt it so it would be absorbed into the leather.I have worn this type of boot for many years and have found that my mink oil treatment softens the leather makeing them very easy to "break in' plus adding  water proofing,I highly reccamend to anyone buying these boot do the same.They are well made and very comfy to wear,and at a great price,thumbs up in my book.

These are some of the best work boots at a really reasonable price.

Too narrow
It's hard to find women's snow boots in size 12.

I traded it for a 12 wide, which was still too narrow.

I just wish they made opening wider with wider size.

Runs Narrow and Not Very Attractive
These boots would’ve been ok for yard work in the winter, mucking stalls, slogging through the mud, etc.

but they run horribly narrow, so back they went.

Hard to believe these are 2x wide…with some kind of modification to the ankle to actually allow a wide foot in, these would be awesome boots!

small-size

I tried a half size larger than I wear because they weren’t available in my size & it does say they run small,

I struggled for about a half hour to jam my feet through the bottom of the boot neck into the foot part…should have listened to other reviews.

They’re just not terribly attractive so that’s all I would’ve worn them for if they had fit.

but they must because there’s no laces for tightening.

Wish it unzipped enough to let one’s foot in, because after stretching the leather the ankle fit is almost too loose.

Super comfortable
These are super comfortable and look good for a waterproof boot.

They're not too stiff for walking either.

They do fit snug around the top of the foot,

I have wide feet and these fit just fine.

They appear sturdy, and perfect for this fall weather.
