The only reason I dropped off the star is because these are labeled as fit wide feet

Meanwhile the shoe remained narrow for even a medium  (B) width shoe.

Because of how narrow they were they started to rub on my kid’s side of big toe and pinky toe within just a few weeks of wear until we decided it was not worth getting calluses at such a young age.

Great walking shoes
This is a great walking shoe, fits wonderfully and is true to size.

My granddaughter didn't wear shoes until a year old and these shoes being put on opposite feet does the trick when she is walking, corrects her feet and you can't even tell they are on the opposite feet.

Perfect 1st walking shoes for my 10m old!

Clearly these shoes helped give her walking confidence cuz she let me lead her outside & even went on the grass!

Perfect fit, so comfortable
My daughter is almost two, and has always resented wearing socks and shoes (or long sleeves, or sometimes pants).

But the next morning, she let me put them on when she was getting dressed, and she has willingly worn them daily since then.

It took her a few wears to get accustomed to the tread and resistance since it's much stronger than moccasins, she can't drag her feet in these or else she trips.

They also have nice fabric lining so the back of her heel isn't getting cut/blistered as she's wearing them in.

From day one my daughter had no problem wearing these shoes and would actually go grab them and sit and try to put them on her herself.

The shoes themselves are machine washable and the Velcro itself has not worn due to wear and tear.

So happy I bought these I had to write a review an hour after receiving them.

Don’t be hesitant buy these shoes they are soooo worth the money.

Finally a shoe that fits my child's foot!

Between her 2 feet she was between a 4 & 5 so I got 4.5m, was perfect fitting with toe wiggle room.

Also, there's no grip on the sole of the shoe and I had a slipping incident.

I have high arches/wide feet, and the area at the bottom of the laces provides quite a bit of pressure on the top of my mid foot.

but fairly thick, so swapping them out to a thinner insole may relieve some of the pressure.

The outsole is segmented into three different parts, which in and of itself is not a problem. But.

I believe it is because those uppers have no give, no stretch, and so they feel much smaller and create pressure points on the foot that can become painful pretty quickly.

but out of the box it is definitely snug to the point of being moderately uncomfortable.

but you will need to go up at least a half size to get it to fit.

1st pair were more normal size and they were way too tight.

I was surprised by the size issue, because I've never had trouble with Reebok in the past.

This runs small so order half to full size up.

I will probably be sending these back for a full size larger, so you may want to think about ordering your's a bit larger than normal too.

Also, the 'break' or line in the tread by the ball of your foot is noticeable when walking unlike any other DMX shoe I've owned from Reebok.

Narrow Shoe
I bought this shoe in a women's version with a mesh upper that was the best walking shoe I had ever had.

So when my husband was looking for a better walking shoe, we tried this one.

I wear them daily to walk my dog and as my go to shoes when I'm wearing my shorts or very athletic pants.

Shopping for extra wide feet and this is one of the top results.


The sandals are not as wide as described.

Unfortunately the sandal width didn't fit over my bunion.

The local shoe store in my area(Academy) has a very limited selection of shoes in wide width.

I returned the normal width and ordered the wide version.

but after only one season the right sandal has a crack across the entire sole.

Also, when trying them on, the whole back of the padded portion peeled off the sole.

The orthotics stick out a bit since the insole bed is not deep enough.

Way too narrow
These are sold as unisex and they shouldn’t be.

I wear normal men’s shoes, not wide shoes or anything, and these Echelon shoes are way too narrow.

But if you are a guy or a girl with wide feet, do NOT get these.

My wife has very small feet, yet these are tight l.
Run very narrow.

They are wide at the heel and the heel will actually hit the crank of the bike if the cleat is not adjusted perfectly.

They are also wide at the front of the shoe and will hit the crank arm if you do not move the cleat all the way to the inside of the shoe .

However, then the straps would constantly need to be tightened mid ride and I would sometimes just choose to wear my regular sneakers on my Echelon bike.

I wore them today and the metal part that holds the strap on the shoe just snapped mid ride so there was no way of tightening my strap.

I’m past being able to return them which sucks.

but I’m out of it now and the purpose of the review is to let people know if you spend the money they could break and you’ll be stuck with them because the return window is fairly small.

Unfortunately I kept these things around more than 30 days and they will have difficulty returning them.

The removable insole is perforated for extra breathability which I thought was a nice touch.

It's nice that the clips are included and recessed so that you can easily walk in these athletic, nice-looking shoes.

Also, I have very narrow feet, and these are very narrow shoes.

The insoles are too thin and offered no support so I will exchange these for a 9 1/2 wide, which hopefully will give me room for an insole.

Even without having one, they’re way too narrow for an average foot.

I have 3 other pair of similar Johnson Murphy shoes I have purchase in the last year or two and this model is by far the most uncomfortable ones.

but after wearing them for a while the toebox feels too wide, which is uncomfortable.

However, there isn't any padding around the collar and rubs against my heel.

I think the problem has to do with the "memory foam" insert.

Best Made Shoes
These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned-they are worth the price.

My brother bought a pair and found them very comfortable ("like sneakers") the moment he put them on.

They fit exceptionally well, especially since I wear orthotics.

Because I wear orthotics, I got the wide as opposed to the medium, which makes it fit much better.

I've had the shoes for a few months now and have worn them often and they will fit and work for me just fine.
