The only reason I dropped off the star is because these are labeled as fit wide feet

Meanwhile the shoe remained narrow for even a medium  (B) width shoe.

Because of how narrow they were they started to rub on my kid’s side of big toe and pinky toe within just a few weeks of wear until we decided it was not worth getting calluses at such a young age.

Realized too u really need to do the the sizing right by taping the ruler to the floor against the wall.

Perfect fit, so comfortable
My daughter is almost two, and has always resented wearing socks and shoes (or long sleeves, or sometimes pants).

But the next morning, she let me put them on when she was getting dressed, and she has willingly worn them daily since then.

My granddaughter didn't wear shoes until a year old and these shoes being put on opposite feet does the trick when she is walking, corrects her feet and you can't even tell they are on the opposite feet.

It took her a few wears to get accustomed to the tread and resistance since it's much stronger than moccasins, she can't drag her feet in these or else she trips.

They also have nice fabric lining so the back of her heel isn't getting cut/blistered as she's wearing them in.

From day one my daughter had no problem wearing these shoes and would actually go grab them and sit and try to put them on her herself.

The shoes themselves are machine washable and the Velcro itself has not worn due to wear and tear.

This is a great walking shoe, fits wonderfully and is true to size.

I was able to slip a Dr. Scholl’s Hidden Arch under the removable footbed and it’s a perfect fit (with thin socks).

Initially wearing these they felt great after just 1 month they became uncomfortable and the lace on one show started coming apart.

Durable and Professional Looking
Since New Balance cancelled my favorite pair of black leather stability shoes for work (857V2 ), I sought a replacement.

These have a firm sole and firm black leather.

The leather cleans easily (I applied conditioner prior to wearing) and has a matte finish.

The toe box holds its shape (unlike my NB) and is the correct width.

I notice a slight improvement in wet and slippery traction over the NBs.

They are reasonably durable and I would recommend them to anyone who needs or likes this type of shoe.

Toe box not quite right for toes, slightly too narrow, edge across top cuts into foot, needed a shoehorn to put them on.

But that faded quickly because the insole made the shoes pretty narrow, and my feet are on the narrow side of medium.

If you're an average to wide foot: avoid these like the plague.

Without the removable insole the shoes are way too wide in the instep.

With the removable insole the shoes are the tiniest bit too narrow in the instep.

Unfortunately I had to return the shoe because with my RA the toe box was a little too shallow for my one bad foot and I was afraid it would not stretch enough to not cause pain.

If I don't use the insole the shoes slip off my feet when I'm walking so I can't really wear them that way.

I can even wear them without a sock liner because that removable insole keeps my feet dry.

They fit snug, have excellent foot support, smooth upper leather, rubber soles.

Perfect shoes for imperfect feet
I already own 2 pair of these shoes, the only shoes with soft, supple leather that do not hurt the bone spur (hallux rigidus) which is causing a lot of pain on top of a bunion on one foot.

First off they look great if the style is something you're OK with they are well done, clean, the leather is nice.

I always wear a 7 in Mephisto, but tried on in store and needed 7 1/2 in this shoe.

Very comfy and glad I went with a bit larger size.

but I'm looking forward to wearing them and am sure in the hotter summer months these will be comfortable alternative to sneakers.

Definitely order the exact size or one size up if you need room att.the toes.

but they fit a little bit tight, I think they run one size smaller.

I ordered a size 6 and my big toe was squeezed right to the front of the shoe.

I've worn them once and they stretched out to a point I had a hard time keeping them on two hours later.

I believe the soles are removable for those with orthotics, the shoe is light, and the leather is on the thin side so a shoe horn would be handy for getting your heels in.

The leather is very soft so it would not irritate a person with diabetes etc.
