After just 60 or so miles, I'm already seeing some concerning wear on the outsole lugs and upper fabric.

Since I no longer run, just walk 15-20 miles a week, I am rather disappointed at the Ghosts wearing out around 300 miles.

The only drawback is a hard spot on the upper that covers the big toe on each side, this causes rubbing and blisters to develop unless I'm wearing extra thick socks.

For my feet, the fit runs half a size too small.

Almost too small, no need to pull snug the shoe strings near the tie,

Recommend going 1/2 size bigger than your running shoe size.

My main complaints are with the upper mesh material and overall fit.

I trail run and hike in these and they have great grip compared to my old worn out timberlands hiking shoes I was replacing.

More than enough of room in the toe box, unless you need to replace the standard insert with a special insert like I do,

On the positive side, the new design includes welcome updates like a roomier toe box and modernized lacing system.

but still more toe box room than Nike or adidas.

My first pair of Brooks Cascadia were the 9 and I have purchased the models that followed since those.

The shoes are stable, have a solid rock plate,, are grippy, provide toe protection, and are typically durable.

They seem to be durable and are holding up well with 200+ miles on the trail.

but the shoe was not shown with longer laces and I paid a lot for this shoe.

The photo is incorrect
I ordered 2 pair of these shoes and discovered the laces were tucked under the tongue for photography.

but I ordered them again from Sperry and their customer service  informed me they have had many complaints about the photos looking like a shoe without the laces.

In 1/2 size down, the stitching hurt my bunion and my toes felt cramped, despite being overall the correct length for my foot.

I wish the leather was softer, as it might be more forgiving on my tender tootsies.

i wore them for a few hours in sunny 40 degrees Fahrenheit with a slight breeze and my toes were hurting from the cold.

Size: I wear a 9.5 and ordered the size 9, when they arrived they say 9 to 9.5.

Mud Dogs hit the garbage can after day 2!

Great Boots
I had a pair of low cut Muck boots that I replaced with Dry Shods.

Impressed by these boots, was concerned about my wide foot fitting properly.

The Dry Shods were a better boot than the muck boots, so when I needed a Mid Boot I went directly to the Dry Shods.

I'm a week in with these boots and lovin'them!

but these boots are an absolute joy at the moment.

The heat concerns me moving forward because my feet are warm now.

I finally found a shoe that can replace Pearl Izumi N2s.

The toe box, not the width of the shoe is what is different --they fit so well I bought an additional pair.

Vivobarefoot mens Low-top

Runs big
One size too small and the next up too big?

In most other barefoot/minimal shoe brands I wear a size 10.

it's too stiff and the fit just doesn't feel right regardless of the size..

I'll probably never buy another vivo, especially when it costs what it does.

Poorly made
The shoelace broke within about 2 weeks of receiving the product. 🤦‍♀️

but that had been replaced with happiness.

Really comfy, zero drop and huge toe box which is great for my wide feet.
