The area near the inner zipper rubs on the upper ankle which caused me to get sores.

Even tightening the laces as much as I could still left them loose.

The top eylets or speedlace receptacles, are angle upward so the lace will not sit evenly in it.

If you leave the laces loose, they unhook themselves from the eyelets very easily, again due to the bad angle.

This does two things, it forces the eyelet to roll over and this caused the inside rivet that attaches the eyelets angle inward, into your lower leg/upper ankle, causing pain all day.

I usually buy Timberland boots .

I need the X Wide size not all boots come in that size .These boots fit perfectly I wear them almost everyday not for work just casual .

They are very nice looking boots and look exactly like they do in the picture.

The Viet made boots had a better/different angle on the eyelets and were very comfortable.

They have great traction I do wear them almost daily in the rain and my feet stay dry .

They are comfortable to wear on long days and broke-in rather quickly.

The tight Toe box space and combined  up curved sole design seam to be issue ???

but my right toe nail would start painfully hurting from pressure after wearing and working a few hours, it was unbearable , Even trying different thickness work socks,  I wear a 10-5 ,  so I had to return them.

I will need to try a size up to allow a little more room  .

for this boot I thought the  design & sturdy waterproof &rubber sole covered toe area without steel toe would be a suitable replacement , however fit seamed OK

They come with quality inserts that last the full life of the boot and for the first time ever I never had to replace the shoe laces.

I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone looking for a comfortable, lightweight, durable boot.

I was looking around at different boots for work, the Milwaukee’s are the best for factory work.

Great as hiking boots and will last longer.

Without a doubt, the most comfortable work boot I have ever worn, comfort of a sneaker in a work boot.

Right out of the box they were comfortable.

I wear these 5 to 6 days a week all year long, they are a solid 100 bucks cheaper than any other boot that can even begin to compare with them.

The ankle portion was tight for the first month and the top edge of the boot would burn my calves while walking so I resorted to tucking my pants into the boot.

Con's:  The tab (to pull boots on) does irritate the skin when walking.

But I've only had the boot for about 5 months and it's starting to crack and I feel my feet getting a little damp like there is water getting in.

I checked Timberland's site for measurement recommendations and I still think I should have gone half a size smaller.

Insole is comfortable and I love that there's replacements you can buy here on Amazon when they get worn out (because believe me the leather and the soles will outlast those inserts at least 2:1.

Pro's: Good construction, comfortable, come off easy.

When I need new boots I get these because they are so comfortable and durable.

The top edge has finally worn and are now comfortable enough to touch my leg.

I'm a 13 US and the size 13 US fit great.

These are the perfect fit, look, support etc.

That being said two of them have literal holes from the material ripping apart from the sole of the boot.

ONE MONTH in and it's starting to do it again, I can tell this pair is gonna rip on me too.

They Work As Intended
I am on my second pair of these boots.

And, I would recommend giving these boots a try.

The collar on the ankles is really comfortable, some would say the best.

You guess it no complaints, it is durable, dependable, light on your feet and tough on everything else.

Visibly noticeable right out of the box is the leather strip that Velcro’s side zipper in place is at least a 1/4” narrower and the pull in back of boot is not leather anymore.

Don't buy expensive boots and then use cheap socks.

It’s made of cheap elastic and foresee this breaking within a month or so.

The Haix killed my feet to the point I couldn’t walk in them and they were the most expensive of all.

They were also noisy if that’s sounds funny, you can’t be stealth when they squeek on dry floors and pavement.

The bates would last about  a year and a half, these boots lasted 3 years and were still in good shape I went ahead and replaced then with the exact same model great boots.

I don’t think you can go wrong with these boots.

but they definitely make a great colder weather boot.

These have to be the most comfortable boots of its type I’ve owned.

Simple little design features like the boot pull on top in back of boot is a great feature which I always told 5.11 that they should have that.

There comfortable from day one I highly recommend them.

However after about 7-10 days of breaking them in the are really comfortable and I have no complaints.

They are still comfortable and the last pair bough approx 2 years ago are shot, starting to hurt my feet.
