I’d changed brands to horribly uncomfortable, albeit nice looking, Allen Edmonds,

but finally decided the looks weren’t worth the discomfort.

So far the leather is really stiff around the ankle and very uncomfortable when using the highest set of lace holes.

though I don’t care for the fake leather sole look, it just makes them look cheap.

I’m a little disappointed that the insole is not nearly as thick or comfortable as with their shoes.

The only downside for me, is that the soles wear out in 4 months.

I’d previously had a pair of Rockport shoes that I wore to work and loved the comfort of them,

Having said that, it is nice that Rockport makes wide shoes for people with wide feet including the arch section of the outsole being wide, as well.


I can depend on Rockport to fit me as I’ve worn them in the past

Super comfortable, stylish, warm, and practical - Couldn't have asked for anything better!

However no issues with the ones I got and they feel comfortable.

I spend A fair amount of time outside in sub zero temps and feet stay warm enough with proper wool sock and dry as they are waterproof.

Very comfortable as well , almost like wearing a pair of running shoes all day .

Has best grip for winter of any dress shoe or boot I’ve found and does this without looking like a clunky hiking boot  .

Best with i-bungee laces for a secure fit and tying-free wear!

As Almost Always Rockport has done it again.

I purchased these boots originally in tan. They were so comfortable from the beginning, I ordered them in the mustard color, Comfort again and they look "jazzy."

A great boot/shoe and the accommodate my arch support orthotic to boot!

Fit is a little strange
I normally were a size 9, EE.

but the sizing is off
Ordered a size 9 wide, and it is closer to a 9.5 or 10 and is not wide.

Run VERY large
I'm usually a size 10 shoe.

I'm lining the size 9 up with other pairs of boots I have that are a 9.5 and these 9's are visibly way larger!

but the overall fit seems a little big in length and width.

A Decent Boot
I have owed several pairs of Rockport shoes.

And, like my other Rockport shoes, I suspect they will last a reasonably long time.


One of the best products from a shoe company that believes that wide feet do exist.
