Shoe strings have barely lasted a week before showing signs of wear and damage.

Great value in a boot I love Rocky
Look I am on my feet 10-12 hours a day and waterproof boots and shoes are REALLY important.

I wear both Rocky duty shoes and these boots and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM BOTH!!!

The Rocky Alpha Force boots have a thick rubber outsole below a very good midsole, as you will see in the pictures that I sent.

They feel like I would be able to do several sprints in them comfortably, and still have a lot of ankle support.

These boots are very comfortable and provide great ankle support.

Other than that it’s the most comfortable pair of boots I’ve ever owned.

These boots also look very sharp and would complete a professional look very well.

The boots came well shined and you could easily spit shine them if you so desire.

but with a more flexible, athletic-like, grippy-er sole.

They are well padded particularly underneath your feet-kinda like walking on a cloud.

The uppers are well made and the soles are flexible enough to provide excellent traction.

I did not like the size were too big for me

but every time I put them on my feet, the left shoe fits while the right shoe feels a size too big.

I do have one dislike about them: I check every morning before I put them on my feet to see if they are both still marked as the same size.

I wore these and broke them in relatively quickly.

They are not comfortable for standing over long periods of time.

I see that the outer sole is a bit clunky.

The inner soles are somewhat hard if you stand on your feet all day.

I will likely just go buy some different insoles should the need arise again.

This is my second pair of Rocky alpha Force,

The insole provides a soft walk and supports ankles.

They are very comfortable easy walk in all day nice grip

These things are comfortable from day 1 and really stand up.


Well built, very comfy and fit was perfect.

They are comfortable for sitting at my desk as I am no longer out riding a white horse and wearing shining armor.

The sole was much stiffer than the Rangers and also much less grip.

My only problem is that the sole of these boots starts to split usually after about 6 months.

I use a boot dryer every night , I'm a very clean person and these boots absolutely reek of a funky smell.

Great if you have flat feet
I am a farmer, and have been a loyal purchaser of Rocky boots for many years now.

I have boots by redwing that have been discontinued the (1205) and still smell like brand new.

Best work boots
I purchased these boots 1 year ago and they are now my favorite boots I’ve ever purchased.

These boots are by far the best I've owned yet.

i would absolutely recommend these boots.

The boot stays fitted to me, as to spreading out when the boot is bent.

I'm happy I came across them while looking for boots.

They are the most comfortable and well constructed boot.

I am constantly in and out of water, above and underground and so I needed something that was going to be reliable and these did the job.

These are insulated, waterproof, and have a protective toe that are vital to my job.

They are extremely comfortable and are still waterproof a year later.

However, they are very comfortable, sturdy and look great.

I was US Army Special Forces and these boots are one of the worst I have ever worn.

I did notice that the are where the top of my foot and my ankle meet in the front, seemed to bind a bit as if I had the laces a bit tight.

Very warm, extremely comfortable, I have very bad arthritis and my ankles are in very bad shape, these boots made me feel very sturdy and provided unbelievable support for my ankles and left me with zero fear of rolling an ankle. ..

I have worn slipon boots for years and love these because once you get you laces set all you have to do is slip them on and zip them up and you you get great ankle support

I use these while working in the offshore oil and gas industry they wear great even when worn all day, they are light, and support my feet great.

Reebok kept this model alive for a few years now and for a composite or (steel toe), is mighty comfortable.

Comfortable as long as you select them oversized.

Salomon Pathfinder Hiking Shoe - Men's


Was abit small, slightly uncomfortable, after wearing out then know the problem.

Three weeks after return date, shoe is still too small.

but it’s not comfortable, it runs too small and the upper tongue part is very poorly designed IMHO, it’s  thick so you will sweat a lot, and also part where it attaches to actual shoe it’s gonna be very uncomfortable bulge against your foot

I usually wear a size 10US-11US size shoe, ordered a 10.5 and they run a little snug.

Based on this, you might want to consider at least a half-size up from your usual N.A. size.

I kept the shoe past the return date, believing an 11.5 should fit perfectly based on the feel of the 11 and the fit of my other brand shoes.

They fit well, they stabilize me on rocky terrain and great ankle support.

Rothco Men's Boot

My only issue with the boots is they are tight in the calf if you lace them all the way up so try to half lace them for comfort.

I put them on and tie them and within 10 minutes I need to retie them?

The boot laces did break on me a little over a month ago

The only real downside is the Vibram soles.

The layering of the sole material is starting to separate in several sopts.

The soles are starting to wear out and it's time to order another set.

An eyelet has popped off and what is wrong with the leather?

The leather easily shows all scuff marks, which is expected for this light color.

but not waterproof if you were wondering.

They arrived with 3-4 spots of dried glue in visible areas,

They never got hot and sweaty, didn't feel like I had any hotspots rubbing on me, and held with some really good ankle support over some very rocky terrain.

Other than that they are well made and comfortable.

They are comfortable and well-constructed.

They are as snug as I need them to be and provide as much support as I would have expected.

but quickly stretched to fit my feet pretty well.

In the three weeks I've had them, I've worn them at least 5 full days.

I got to wear them this weekend for a good full day.

I expected the soles to break before wearing out so I'm very happy.

but terrible quality
The quality of materials of the outsole is terrible.

I've had these for a month and sadly the left sole is starting to separate at the arch.

but soles don't wear like competitors
I used these to replace the thorogoods I had been wearing for two years, but am replacing them after three months of walking around a hospital facility all day.

but the dole isnt solid rubber there is a foam layer about two millimeters under the sole finish and they do not retain slip resistance a well.

One word of warning for those who live in tropical climates  where high heat and humidity is ever present, the rubber sole tends to deteriorate very quickly.

Left mine in the box for a couple years and when I tried to used them the soles literally  fell apart.

But I am replacing them with the same rockys because they fit and walk better.

Wear them for only a few miles and it starts wearing out super quick losing its traction and pealing off of rubber.

Happy feet
For those who spend alot of time on their feet because of job requirements will find the Rocky Duty Chukka Swat Boot a must have in their wardrobe.

but give great ankle support & are postal approved.

Comfortable and durable
Well I used to buy these years ago,then saw Amazon had them cheaper so I re bought them again remembering that they were comfortable

Are quite comfortable to walk in and for the most part keep the feet dry they are very long won the ankle and give almost no support.

They are every bit as comfortable as the  thorogoods,

I'm wearing these shoes to work daily (as part of my uniform) - they are exceptionally comfortable: the sole/heel padding is wonderful.

Even most Walmart boots with rubber outsole are much better quality and only $35.
