I feel like I have clown shoes on from the flop at the top of the shoe.

Since the top of the shoe fits snug beneath your ankle the shoes don't flop on my feet at the heel - instead it's awkward with extra room at the toes and I almost feel like I have flipper feet with them on.

Surprised by the quality
Got this in preparation for a trip to a rocky beach and it worked great.

They are definitely as they look online

Walking around has a natural feel, I know I am not barefoot

The "barefoot feel" isn't just marketing jargon – these shoes genuinely feel like a second skin.

I use these to run on my treadmill because they feel like you are barefoot with a little support.

Good quality for the price and fits as expected.

Loops front and back of the ankle make for easy wearing, coupled with the adjustable elasticated laces I get a good fit every time even with my wide feet.

I sized up by 1/2 size and they fit great.

however I noticed the sole of the shoes tends to fold while walking, which makes it uncomfortable.

but the only problem is that it dries slowly, which gives an unpleasant feeling when walking.

Great For Rocky Beaches
We live in Hawaii, these work great on rocky beaches.

Work exactly as advertised
Read a recommendation to use these shoes on O'ahu due to rocky beaches.

They dry quickly and work very well when walking to/from beach on roads and on rocky/gravely surfaces.

I've used this at our pool and they work well and light, so you feel you are even almost barefooted.

They work well to keep the mud out of the insides of the water shoes -- very important to me otherwise I would have mud/dirt all over the boat's cockpit.
