The only thing I don't like about the boots is that the laces seem way too long.

The lace rivets popped the first time I pulled them .

The thick tread on the bottom makes them stable on rocky / uneven ground.

The soles have thick soles with a medium amount of flex and relatively deep tread, so these boots should work well for serious day hiking and weekend backpacking on steep or rocky terrain.

The leather is sturdy and the boots are definitely waterproof from what he's seen.

The boots have a "bootie" liner, so should be much more waterproof than boots with fabric uppers that only have a light water-resistant coating.

I wear men's size 9 shoes and these boots fit me perfectly in size 9.

The boots have a nice secure heel cup and roomy toe box.

but these boots are very comfortable with just the stock insoles.

According to my kitchen scale, weight is 1 pound 3 ounces per boot, which is relatively lightweight for waterproof leather boots.

but I expected that ..they only issue I have with them really is that they aren’t that comfortable..I’m going to  get some inserts for them ..I’m on my feet all day for work so I thought they would be comfortable bc I had a very comfortable pair when I worked outside doing construction all day but other than that I would have gave them five stars.

In fact I ordered 3 different brands and ended up returning them all.

I'll continue buying these boots as long as Rocky continues to make them and definately would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a good comfortable water proof boot.

This Boot is No Where Near the size that it says that it is!

The company sent the wrong width size from what I ordered.

Got them in June and it's now September and can't wear them they hurt my feet so bad.

First off they were damp, and boots overall looked worn (ref pics), and the shoe laces were too short and one end of each lace tip was not there, just cut and burned off.

I live on a 2.5 acre hillside, it's rocky, clay, hard ground.
