but I expected that ..they only issue I have with them really is that they aren’t that comfortable..I’m going to  get some inserts for them ..I’m on my feet all day for work so I thought they would be comfortable bc I had a very comfortable pair when I worked outside doing construction all day but other than that I would have gave them five stars.

I'll continue buying these boots as long as Rocky continues to make them and definately would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a good comfortable water proof boot.

Instead of buying boots half a size bigger to allow for the steel toe, on these you can buy boots that fit your feet and still have room at the toe.

This is like my fourth or fifth pair of these same boots I get about 2 years out of them and that’s with wearing them 98% of the time.

I'm in construction so I need a boot that sticks to a roof which these do a decent job.

My only other complaint is their claim of "waterproof".

That's when I wasn't sure for a minute if I felt the cold of the water or the wetness of the water.

I could feel the cold and some of the wet along the outside edges of my feet, and then when I got home and pulled them off and felt Inside, sure enough, wet, right where the sides meet the soles, so, they're NOT "waterproof" god damn it.

Just don't submerge your feet for an extended period of time which I'm sure these are not meant to do. But, I don't care what the hell they're "meant to do, don't say water PROOF, say "really really water resistant! "

The mesh near the back of the to ripped through and then the water proof membrane ripped there also letting water in.

Once they were no longer waterproof I ended up sending them back for a refund that took a couple weeks.

Anyway, I'm putting some Dr.Scholls gel inserts in mine asap That's my one complaint.

order your true size, (seem to run a little big)

They don't fit the same as a normal shoe size.

Ended up having to order a size up and wide since it is a steel toe.

but I was looking for something as a daily 'work' shoe that I would wear instead of boots in the summer months and these did not hold up.

I'm a biiig fan of goretex, and I think Rocky should have gone for some with these (especially for the price).

I once worked in the rain for 4 hours on a roof and my socks stayed dry.

Walked 100' through 2" deep water along the edge of the puddle with water coming well up the sides of the shoe, so far i think its going well and my feet are still dry, i think,  then i stood in 3-4" deep water for 20 to 30 seconds covering the top of the shoes.

Actually I was surprised at how dry my feet were for the most part given the tests I did and these being mesh shoes. Buuuut.

So I get em yesterday,  wear em all day at work (they got more comfortable as the day went on), came home, took the dog for a walk in the field across the street where the big deep puddle is.

A Little Large
The size 8 wide ran a little large,

They're water resistant, not water proof; standing in 3/4 inch of water for any period of time they seep water in.

They lack any sort of ventilation so wet feet stay wet.

The soles are coming apart, leaving holes that form blisters as I walk.

The heels started making an awful creaking noise maybe a month into use, doesn't matter what I walk on(concrete, wood, sand, gravel) the noise is always made, every single step.

Go one size smaller to get the perfect fit.

These are the worst boots I've ever worn, I literally threw them in the trash.

Normally I get a year out of other rocky boots, this pair I got 3 months of actual use, which is junk for the price.

A great decision for the smart and thrifty consumer
I've had a pair of Rocky boots before, and my preference is Redwing, Rocky & Keen.

Comfort
These boots are THE best, you can never go wrong with Rocky.

And I have some extra room in the toe area.

They were nice looking boots,well made ,I hated to return them.

The construction of these boots are really good and made to last.

Comfortable, good quality, excellent fit!

They are sooo comfortable, you do not need to break them in at all.
