Simply put: The grip on the soles of these Body Glove Dynamo Rapid water shoes sucks for slick surfaces.

I've had flat-bottomed Vibram (5 fingers) shoes which had more grip and torsion stability on slick surfaces than these.

They will give you no perch, grip or torsion on moss or algae covered rocks or any slick surface in or around water.

Walking on roughed concrete around a water park, and these Body Glove water shoes slip there, too.

The laces aren't great so I replaced them with elastic laces so I can just slip the shoes on and off.

These shoes have a thicker bottom that when I have them on and walk on rocks before getting into the water, I don't feel the sharp edges of the rocks under my feet.
