I ordered the extra wide which gave me just enough room not to push on my big toes and allows for a bit of expansion if my feet swell up during the day.

I decided to give these a go so I could take my dogs on nice long walks again and I haven’t been disappointed.

I have also brought a pair of trainers and find those equally as comfortable and both pairs allow me to get back to long walks with the dog.

I do a lot of walking and I really like these shoes.

Another thing I really like is just how easy they are to clean as I’ve had some walking shoes before that have been a nightmare.

I needed some good ones for hiking and these are waterproof on the outside, have very cushy and comfortable insoles and padding, and are nice and wide for my feet.

I bought them a little big and replaced their liner with my orthotics from my Finn Comfort shoes to beef up the arch support.

Well made, solid, roomy toebox and a must have in snow and ice!

Quite roomy, order to size, yo uwill still have room for winter socks  and soft enough on the inside they wont rub with thin socks. Lastly.

I am now able to walk my dogs again in the winter, and not having to worry about, slipping on the ice & cracking my head open again!

but they actually relaxed enough over a few weeks where I can now wear them without socks when I need to run the dogs out.

The studs are really Gripping and definitely make winter walks much more enjoyable!

I ordered a half-size up to accomodate thicker sox.The product is very well made, comfortable enough and I feel confident walking on ice in Northern Minnesota.

What a great set of boots for my winter walks on our snowy, icy streets!

But I knew that when I bought them, and am so pleased to be able to walk briskly again.

Being able to walk with confidence is priceless.

I have a wider foot, the women’s metro was a little too narrow, so I returned and got the mens pace boot which is wider for me, I wear orthotics and this boot allows for orthotics.

Sorel Women's Joan of Arctic Wp Snow Boots

Not a chance would I have had of wearing thicker winter socks in them.

I wear a size 9 and the size 9.5 ran short in the toes.

but I planned  to wear thick ski socks, so I opted for the half size up and it was far too large and I sent back.

After wearing around the house, I noticed the 9.5 was making my feet slightly tingle/numb, particularily around the area where the rubber meets the leather on top of the foot and an area that I knew might not "stretch" over time.

I bought these at a great price on Amazon - $85 - brand new!

but I found that my exact size was way too small.

The boot liner actually runs shorter in the toes than the actual boot by about 1/4  to 1/2 inch.

So these actually fit shorter in the toes b/c of the liner,

To compare further, I put one of the Sorel Tofino boots on one foot (size 9.5), and one of these Sorel Joan of Artic boots on the other foot (size 9.5) and not only was this boot shorter and wider,

So I was disappointed that the Sorel Joan of Artic winter boots had thinner rubber on the outside of the foot, and a thinner interior liner than some older styles; and did not provide as much warmth.

but disappointed - even though I sized up, they were very tight with just ankle height running socks on.

Plus, because of the thickness of the sock, my toe felt closer to the boot toe end.

I have a pair of the Sorel Tofino boots in a size 9.5 and have plenty of room for my toes

The fit is perfect with just enough room inside the liner for a pair of sheepskin insoles for extra cushion, warmth & to (hopefully) prolong the life of the liner.

The 10 had a comfortable bit of room even after the 2 socks or 1 thick sock was added and did not make my feet tingle/numb.

They are waterproof, comfortable and great for walking the dog!

These boots are perfect winter boots.

The new size fits perfect and they are warm and comfy

As far as performance goes, this Canadian girl’s feet (& calves) are toasty warm & dry when trudging through deep snow in -25C temps or slopping across a slushy parking lot.

The Honest Beige color is a beautiful soft yet warm camel color (fawn-like), not a dark camel.

The inner felt is SO warm and cozy, even with a thin pair of socks.

The clams of waterproof is not exactly correct mine leak slightly through the stitches on the toe when walking in long wet grass.

My Mistake
I accidentally ordered a men’s size so they were too big and I returned them.

Quality Control is going down
Last year I purchased a pair of Fitville Golf Shoes sz 10 EW, and they were and still are fantastic.

Now, I just purchased these pair in the same exact size,  10EW as you can see on the box, and the width is not the same.

Being an older gent my width of toes has spread as I am aging, there's no chance I can wear the normally skinny Trainers/Walking shoes from an average shoe shop without discomfort after the first mile.

The tread and sole are not as thick as it could be.

3) I've had to reposition the insole a few times.

But they don't get 5 stars because of a few flaws I've noticed: 1) the material in the back of the shoe (near the heel/ankle) seems to be sliding down (/bunching up) inside the fabric.

Very comfortable and plenty of toe room, I ordered 1 size up from normal to make sure.

These shoes are nice.

I walk my dog in the morning when there's still dew out and these sneakers will keep the water out MOST of the time.

Very comfortable to walk in and good on gravel  tracks.

But they are quite comfortable to wear and walk in, and are a low-top so better for different scenarios.

You just have to be sure that you pick up your feet because it is a wider and thicker soul and you can sometimes trip when you’re not used to that.

I guess because they are wide width, they are just too much shoe for me.

Not right for my feet
I have a wide foot so I thought these court shoes would work for me since they’re made especially for that.

Fairly stiff,
These shoes are wide, which was the main selling point for me.

While they are wide enough, the way the arch is and the way the heel is makes my foot slide forward into the toe box, so my toes are sliding into the front.

Way too big
I normally wear a size 8 in tennis shoes and get a wide when it's available.

These are not only really wide through the whole shoe,

I would go down a size, otherwise, these are going to be too long.

I suggest you go down at least a half size if not a full size from your normal shoe size.

These tennis shoes are fairly stiff and the back is very hard.

but they give my tootsies wiggle room while the laces tighten up well to make walking feel secure.

I recommend these shoes for anyone who has a wider foot or just wants extra room for thicker socks in the winter.

The seams seem solid, the tread is non slip (my dog thought the sole was fascinating), and there is good heel support.

These shoes are really comfortable and easy to walk in.

Overall these shoes are a must buy if looking for something comfortable and durable.

I'm not sure why these are called pickleball shoes

but I have to say they’re super comfortable and my feet don’t hurt when I wear these all day.

I’ve owned several pairs of Danskos over the years and am always a size 38, but found these to be enormous in that size.

Possibly a smaller boot size would have been better.

Also, they run about half a size too big.

It reminds me of someone wearing jeans that are too tight and their love handles are going over the sides of their pants.

but a little stiff
I bought these to wear on rainy days when I don't want to wear my tall rubber rain boots all day.

but, then they would feel a little tight so, if going to wear Heavy socks order a whole size up.

but, the top of boot is rubbing above my ankle and, the first day I wore them I wanted to cuff my jeans high so wore a low sock and, now have blisters above ankle of both sides.

Don’t make the same mistake break them in before u wear to low of a sock. lol!

I had to wear taller socks to keep from rubbing.

to be fair i’m not wearing them that often because they are so stiff 😫

but fit a bit snug so thick socks won't work unless you do a half size up.

They were snug when I first tried them on (with thickish socks).

The top leather part is much wider than the rubber toe/bottom, so it looks like it's bubbling over the side.

Even if they did fit, the leather looks cheaper than a lot of other Sorel products.

They’re not easy to put on or take off, the leather is very stiff and hurts putting on my feet.

My *only* complaint is that the leather upper digs into my leg at the top of the boot just above my ankle.

I'm hoping the leather will break in and if that happens, I may modify my review.

Update: Hasn’t gotten any comfortable over time after a year .

And they just weren’t as comfortable as all my other Sorel boots are.

There was so much space between the front of my ankle and boot.

but after wearing them for a ~2 mile walk with my dog, they now are perfectly snug with moderately thick socks.

While on my walk, I walked around in a creek in the woods and my feet were perfectly drive.
