Size chart is weird and misleading.

but of course, my granddaughter accuse me of buying the wrong shoes because these didn’t have a whatever they’re called in the toe of the shoes, so she could stand on her tiptoes.

The fabric does not stretch, so if you are buying them for a child, and your child grows, they will not expand.

but my kid (14) laughed at them and said they look stupid (she’s danced in classes for years).

but hte teachers don't like the kids wearing them in the classroom due to the mess.

They got stained up just from dancing on the floor pretty quickly, and just didn't look great by the end compared to the other kid's shoes.

I ordered blue because it was on sale and it isn’t blue.

So if you’re sensitive to the look of the shoe or buying for a traditional class, they aren’t going to look like any shoes we’ve had required by teachers.

the features i like best about these ballet slippers are: they are washable, will hold up well and leave the most room for my daughter to grow.

due to the elastic cinch tie, these fit with room to grow.

these are a nice quality black canvas, have cross-cross elastic straps on top, as well as elastic cinch in the front.

The canvas will be easy to customize or take in for a better fit.

These are perfect, fit compactly in a back pack, my daughter loves them and they are comfortable.

My Little "Hooves" OTBT Shoes: A Little Too Stiff and not Stable Enough a Heel
I ordered a size 6.5 in black.

I thought maybe it was because of the leather breaking in and I was right because by mid-day, I had to adjust them every 30 minutes or so in the back so that they would not rub on the back of my heel because they have loosened.

A more stable (wider) heel would have done wonders for this shoe.

Here's the thing:  the 7 is ok, my foot doesn't budge a millimeter while walking around because there's that length of elastic under the inner ankle wrangling your heel in from going anywhere.

As for the quality I'm wondering if I'm going to encounter the sole of the heel detaching like other reviewers had; examining the quality in that area I guess I could imagine that happening,

But if you have narrow feet, they may be a bit wide.

This is basically the exact same narrow trouble area the boots have.

Keep in mind that if you have small feet like me, these shoes will sort of visually "compress" your feet making them look even smaller.

I have a small bunion on one foot & the top of the shoe goes right under it & hurts so have to return.

The OTBT boots definitely have a tendency to run small, and I do a 7.5 in those so socks/tights have a chance of fitting.

Another thing to note is that if you have a tendency to roll your ankles like I do, then these shoes may not be stable enough for you.

At the end of the day, I went to another store to try on some other shoes thinking I would need them because these were hurting.

The toes are a nice rounded shape with plenty of wiggle room without being loose.

My heel has a good amount of space before it gets near to bulging over the edge, because that elastic strap is pulling your heel forward so firmly.

Grrrrr…these are adorable & the other foot feels great.

They are really cute (not dowdy) & have a comfy/soft insole.

The green color is exactly as pictured and very cute, I'm already planning out which of my Athleta knit dresses I can pair it with.

I bought a pair of a brand name, most expensive Pickleball shoes, which starts with S, after I played with them my feet were sore and were uncomfortable on my wide feet, and they were supposed to have arch fit.

I decided to try these shoes and I was able to add my orthopaedic insoles provided by my podiatrist which the more expensive Pickleball shoes did not provide room for, I also added elastic shoelaces when tightened up, provided a super snug fit without being uncomfortable.

Other reviews said these boots were a bit larger than size, so I bought 7 wide instead of my normal 7.5 or 8 wide.

but the only part of the boot that was wide was the heel.

So for the left boot to be tighter than the right boot means these boots have to be significantly different in size.

The Milwaukee boots I bought are very comfortable , well built , with heavy duty zippers , I do believe these boots are the best I have ever bought !! !

but every other boot I've bought at that size fits.

I do like the way these boots feel even before break-in.

I also like how you can adjust the tightness across the instep and the upper boot with the belts.
