But I need to knock them down a star for the worst laces I've ever had.

I tighten the laces and they immediately loosen before I can tie the knot.

I much prefer the rounder laces on the Xero Prio.

The weird cushioning, short toebox height, lack of breathability, and slippery laces are deal breakers.

The shoelaces are a little too short for a heel lock.

But even just walking around my apartment, I noticed my feet sloppily sliding from side to side in the shoes.

However, the toe box is not tall enough at the very front of the shoe, so my big toenail constantly makes contact with the top of the shoe, making the shoe feel too small

This is my first experience with Altra shoes, and I have to say I do enjoy running in them,

With zero drop, wider toe box and designed specifically for midfoot strikers, the Rivera 2 seems to be the perfect indroduction to a barefoot running shoe.

As with so many shoes that I've tried on recently, these shoes will likely suit the average runner just fine.

The wide toe box is very nice and the sizing is true to size.

I love the zero drop construction, wide toebox, and outsole.

I'll give the Rivera this - it's not overly wide, even for being on the slimmer side as far as lasts go, so my toes did have plenty of room to splay.

Not sure if these are real or not, I was definitely hesitant before buying,

but after purchasing, I was pleased with the sneakers.

The outer sole lasts quite a fair bit so great value for money.

I have been wearing Nike Air Zoom Structure Running shoe since Structure 5.

I’m Still in the break in period of the structure 22 running shoe.

This shoe has good arch support for runners that over pronate (has flat feet).

They look stylish and have reflective material for night running.

Best Support Shoe
These sneakers are the best for someone like me that walks several miles daily yet has arthritis in both feet.

The 22 still fits my foot like they were specially made just for me and the cushion is still very nice.

Finding these was a brilliant piece of luck as they are the same model as my old ones and fit perfectly.

Not sized correctly
All my other shoes are a 10 wide and fit perfect because I wear a size 10 wide.

I got this 10.5 wide because this shoe I have in a 10 wide and it is too small in length and width.

Most comfortable to wear for everyday walking
Wore my first pair out so it was time for another pair.

New Balance is comfortable, stylish & only shoe that works for meut my thotics in them
This is the only shoe that I can wear, place my orthotics in and have a good balance.

but they are very soft and comfortable while keeping my feet properly aligned.

New Balance gives me the support and comfort I need; I feel safe walking outside with them - other brands didn't provide that same sense of support, comfort, and safety.

These give me a solid platform and are easy for me to clean.

ASICS Gel-Excite 6 Men's Running Shoes

Less support in the toe box and slight mis-sizing mean that the very front of the shoe sometimes curls up onto my toes, which can hurt in the gym or when sprinting.

First pair of ASICS, so I ordered my normal Size 12 and I found the toe box to be small, and had to have that area stretched (freezing bags with water method), since I had worn them a few days and were not sure if they were returnable.

I got my usual 10.5 (although sometime I'm 11) and they fit just a little too snugly.

Not as comfortable as the reviews led me to believe.

Even with stretching, still not totally comfortable, so may take them to a Shoe Repair for more stretching.

Fine for cross-training, biking, and jogging.

They provide excellent support for my daily walks (2-4 miles brisk daily) which was what I needed because my feet started getting sore from the additional walking I've been doing since working from home during the COVID pandemic.

Narrow fit
I wear many different brands of sneakers (VANS, Volcom, adidas) and always a medium width.

But these are too narrow for me and I couldn't wear them for more than a few minutes.

I typically wear a women’s 9.5, and the men’s 8 is just a tad too large

Bottoms are a very hard plastic feel with little grip.


As others have mentioned the UK sizes come up small.

but I suspect the 7.5 would be too small.

but had to send back and replace with 10.5 UK which fit perfectly (note the Euro sizes are way off -- 45 and 45.5 respectively).
