Ordered size 12 received size 11.5=too small.

They run really small order up atleast one size not just a half size up.

but size 9, euro 42, was at least a half size too small.

Update; Animasportiva is now claiming they sent me what I ordered.

All they have to do is look at my order details and the shoes are plainly dark green and black  NOT bright blue and black.

The spin ultra has been a great shoe for me.

Saved many toe bangs compared to other trail running shoes.

but you get so much protection for the extra couple of ounces it’s worth it IMO.

Good protection, grip, cushion, too tight toebox and forefoot.

Sock fit is very comfortable and prevents chafing.

I can have arch pain from shoes with too much arch support, and even after sixty miles over four days, I had no arch pain and no blisters.

Also the stretchy strap that holds the shoe tounge to the shoe itself broke within 3 seconds of putting the shoes on, so i may reach out to CB regarding warranty and see how that shakes out.

Traction on the pedals is great (running PNW flats).

Definitely recommend them if you are running flats.

They’re comfortable, I really like the tie free laces, offer good toe protection, and they give you good support while riding.

Comfort
I have owned every brand of mtb shoe ,these are way more comfortable  right out of the box , no break in .

They are supportive and they are comfortable I guess is a positive.
