Really annoyed got these a size up and still to small definitely not a 6 I should have room for my toes to move

But it is definitely 1/2 a size too small.

But it is way too narrow even for my small feet

had to return/exchange

but little tight, seems half size would have been better, had to return.

unfortunately it was outside of my return window when I finally wore them the first time.

Unfortunately the return window closed already.

I did have to exchange the first pair for a size up,

I had to exchange mine for a half size bigger,

Returned for a size 11 which is a little too big so I think the sizing is off a bit.

I also tend to have wider feet and didn’t accommodate for that, should’ve gone a half size up.

Ordered 8 1/2 wide, they really don't fit like a wide shoe.

but if you have a wide foot it might be a bit snug.

but they are more narrow than I expected.

I don't think going up anymore would be wise, because they do fit length wise,

But our daughter, who has slender size 8 feet, could not get it on her foot.

A little short on the size so not the most comfortable.

I can barely get my foot in them and ordered my normal flat/boot size.

I would suggest ordering 1/2 to a whole size up from your dress shoe size.

After the fact, I checked  the comments and maybe one person suggested to size up.

but 100% suggest you should order 1/2 a size up!

uncomfortable

One shoe fits smaller than the other and is uncomfortable.

These were the most uncomfortable booties I've ever bought.

Most cheap boots feel hard and uncomfortable on your heels and squeeze your toes to death.

Very uncomfortable made noises walking sent right back.

Although, pretty I stopped buying uncomfortable shoes.

They're horribly uncomfortable for my feet, though.

They fit as expected, they are comfortable and I have had tons of compliments on how cute they are.

The shoe while attractive and appropriate fit to my size is poorly made.

They are a beautiful color and well made.

The heels offers slight height and make a lovely hollow clicking noise.

As far as looks go, these are lovely boots,

Honestly, I was looking for a flat bootie that barely had any heel so that I could be comfortable when walking around at the stores for a few hours.

I had these on all day (9+ hours) and they are very comfortable.

but once on, they are pretty comfortable.

The thing is there is no option to return.

but they slipped around too much, so I returned them for a 7.5.

Way too tight and have to return them snug. .

I just returned them and said not worth the headache to try again.

Amazon shouldn’t even make me deal with the hassle of returning them

I only returned because of the price point and I didn't really need ankle boots..but if I needed them I would have kept them and paid the price

The 9 1/2 wide had huge ankles and heel and I walked right out of them.

except that the 7.5 fits as far as toe box, width, etc,

I even gave them to my DIL who is a size 8 and they were to narrow.

but they didnt seem to have any wide available.

heel

however are made with a painted on finish that wears off the heels and bottom and looks cheap exposing a lighter colored rubber underneath.

It’s not a true stacked heel and the faux stacked finish wears off after a few wears.

However, the heel area was way too loose.

but the boots still are loose in the heel.

Hard to zip up.and the guess paint came off heel the first day I wore them.

Heel fit fine,  length correct to label, toe box tight.

More Importantly I bought these as “Used” & the description of mild scratch on Sole was bad wrong (see pics).

Changed color very quickly and they started to torn within 1 month of use ..disappointing

Both sides of boots have scuff marks Packing differently could have helped.

As if the chunky fit wasn't bad enough, after the second wear, the boots began to peel.

I have had a pair of these boots for years - it was the one with the little holes in them.

So, this season I have ordered  a pair with the little holes, a greyish color, and now this brownish color!!!

but the upper on these has already been scraped badly and the dark edges of the soul has rubbed off after just two wearings.

Was replacing the same pair of boots bought a few years ago that were scuffed. Comfortable.

Only wish I could order these same boots, style, size, etc, in Navy SMOOTH leather finish.

but I sized up a half size so I could add a foot bed insert with an arch support as they don’t have any arch support.

but now know Lucky Brand runs one size large on me based on these and an older pair I’ve worn for years.

I didn't go through the trouble of ordering 1/2 size up.

They weren’t just tight or pinching…I could only get half of my foot into the shoe.

I told him 8.5, since I thought my Sam Edelman booties were.

No dislikes, very comfortable beautiful boots

Love these boots and have not had any issues with heels as stated in other reviews.

I think if you take care of your boots they will last.

These boots were such a cheap knock off .

These were almost like trying to fit my feet in kids’ boots.

I live in a cold climate and good leather boots that are super comfortable with a great look SCORE !

The leather on these booties is a unbelievably so smooth and soft to the touch.

The leather is soft and will get a distressed look after a few times of wearing them which I liked.

Very soft, genuine leather and super comfortable!

I loved the type of leather and so wanted to love these,

I have a hard time to believing  these stem leather like stated.

I bought some leather cleaner & conditioner & use it faithfully.

I ordered my usual 8 Wide and they fit fine.

So, I thought to be clever and bought some cheap simple insoles.

Bought a pair a few years ago, love them so much that I bought a second pair.

Very comfortable boot, will order them in a different color.

I purchased the black Basel ankle I love the zippers on both sides allowing easy application and you never have to worry about them falling off, and that is saying a lot from this stroke survivor!

but in a different color she said that she love them because they are so comfortable,

I can wear them all day to work on my feet and still comfortable.

As a mature woman - I wanted a comfortable ankle boot, that was still stylish

but I have barley worn them two weeks now and out of now where today, the souls ripped write from the boot in two places.

However, the exact same thing happened with my newest pair, in only about 4 months - same defect in the same spot in the left shoe, with the platform splitting in half shortly after.

However, after about 4 months of wear, I noticed that the rubber started ripping around the arches, and by month 6, the rips had extended through the entire sole, exposing my foot to rain (common in the PNW for sure).

The right boot was collapsing inwards when I walked on it and the heel has already started to rip off.

After one wear (nothing crazy just walking), the boots are already scuffed.

I got these on February 2 and it’s now the 14th, I’ve only had these boots for 2 weeks and they just split on me while I was on my way to work.

The second time the right shoe was defective on the toe area where that area had a “scuff” like mark that wouldn’t go away no matter how much you cleaned it And it’s not fair a brand new product.

though material is cheap and it cracked after 1 use.

The sole broke after 4 months and not been even used everyday

About a week after I noticed it, the sole of the shoe caved and the platform broke in half.

Once the sole caved in, it caused the top-most part of the platform closest to the bottom of the sole to break, too.

Original  Feels softer and slightly higher on the bottom.

There is no padding at all on the inside, and they hurt my feet as soon as I put them on.

but the size it’s a little bit bigger so just make sure you buy one half size smaller or a insole memory foam.

Ordered a pair and sent them back after minimal wear as the sole came apart from the shoe.

I have wide metatarsals and can range is shoe size from a US 8.5-9/ EUR 40-41/ CN 250-255 depending on the sole shape.

Of course the return window only lasts one month so now I have two pairs of broken boots that lasted 4 months then the pair 2 months.

The shoes were very baggy on my feet, I had to return them they were ridiculously clunky loose and uncomfortable

Had to return, I normally wear a 9.5-10 and the 10 was suffocatingly tight.

I thought of returning and half sizing down because they felt somewhat awkward

I am on my 2nd pair as I returned the first pair for a new pair as the shoe was becoming unglued from the sole after wearing them only once.

Did not like these at all, Purchased these in Try Before Purchase however these came without a return label so I’m stuck now with these horrible boots that not only are way too big

but they as well left blisters on my ankles because they are way too large, Sadly no return address or label for me to return them and Amazon went ahead and charged me anyway for not only these but a couple other things as well because they never sent any of the return info for me to send these items back!!!!!

but if you have a wide foot sadly these will not work out no matter how hard you try and I will sadly be returning.

half-size

I bought my first pair in January then after 4 months they broke in half on the bottom as you can see in the attached pictures.

Unfortunately the sole split in half not once

Let me say that again - the “thick” platform broke in HALF.

However, not even 3 months of having them, the sole ripped in half.

I sized up by a half a size like I like to do for boots

Order a half size up they were a little tight

A bit clumsier than other chunky boots I have and, the pair in black are not very stylish.

Definitely watch out if you have wide feet!

Sadly my foot is wide af and after it took me a good couple minutes squeezing into them I couldn’t convince myself that the pain I felt would go away.

If you have “slimmer” feet I highly recommend

i can imagine someone with wider feet may have a bit of trouble as they are pretty narrow.

My daughter found some really expensive boots she loved in a store

They have been a perfect way to give her boots she loves and at a price I love.

She looks great in them, they seem to be sturdy and I didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars on boots she'll grow out of in 6 months.

Perfect boots for 4 months, then they both split through the ENTIRE sole.

Wore them daily; they were my cutest boots and most comfortable pair of shoes (second only to my running shoes).

Unless you plan to wear them VERY rarely, or unless you’re willing to buy yourself a new pair every 4-6 months, these boots are definitely not worth it.

Comfortable and fit perfectly  The price of these shoes fluctuates on Amazon a lot from $39-$99  I got mine for 39 and am already thinking about buying a second pie for when these wear out.

Stylists, comfy and perfect for when I want a bootie that can be dressed up or down.

This is the most comfortable boot I’ve ever owned.

Thought the price point was great, especially since they look great on her, she loves them, has worn them frequently, and finds them to be TTS and perfectly comfortable.

I wore them for 4 hours at a standing-only concert, and now theyre back to being my shoes for work (always standing) because they don't make my feet hurt, unlike my WORK SHOES.

but i plan on getting another pair to wear out, and keep this pair for work

She literally wears them everyday, everywhere and with every outfit.

I get so many compliments everytime I wear these shoes!

I’ve worn them everyday this week and they fit perfectly!

I wear a size 11 so clearly I have big feet and I’m tall.

I’m very picky with shoes so they were a pleasant surprise, they are a bit narrow in the tip

The problem is that they are incredibly narrow.

but that did not seem to add any width to the foot bed.

I do think if you have a foot on the wider side it would be best to go a 1/2 size up.

Love these boots, run just a tad narrow in the toe area ( my feet are a little bit wide),

Keep in mind Sam Edeleman shoes generally don't have a very wide foot span so if you have wide feet, these boots may not be the best for you.

Def recommend a size up and if ur foot is wide this is def not the boot for you

I was shocked at the handling for nearly $200 boots—made me think they’re selling returns on Amazon.

but not in comfort for me, had to return.

It looks like someone returned these boots and poorly tied on a Sam Edelman tag.

I ordered the wrong size at first and they didn’t hesitate exchanging them

Had to return because my son bought it as a gift and it arrived a couple of days after.

Also, for what it's worth - I always size up at least a half size in Sam Edelman shoes!

Buy in your regular size if wearing thick socks.

but I read reviews and was unsure of the size,  so I ordered a 9 and a 9 1/2.

but if you’re planning to wear them with thicker socks, I will say go up half a size.

So if you're between sizes, size up, and if you want socks, size up from that.

but I have very not-narrow feet, can fit into most size 9 shoes normally and I was hoping that would be the case with these but no they were too tight.

I sized up half a size and then ended up ordering my normal size when I got them and found them to be too big.

In my opinion this boot doesn’t run true to size.

Only thing I will note is that they did run a bit big for me, I ordered my usual size and even with thick socks There was plenty of wiggle room.

I loved everything about them until one toe got a small scratch that exposed how thin the top layer is.

Even when shoes are reviewed as running small, I'm usually still a true 7,
