It's a bit more rigid and wider than what I am used to and doesn't feel as comfortable on initial wearing.

I practically live in flip flops so I just had to try these.

They are squishy soft and have a nice arch support.

They have good arch support and can be rinsed off with just water.

but breaking them in- great arch support.

I have pretty high arches and these flip flops have a decent arch.

I have a lot of flip flops that run the gamut on the price range.

Those flops were super comfortable, and I was sorry to give them up.

But, I have to say, these flip flops give my old flip-flops a run for their money.

While out and about on my first wearing the heel strap rubbed.

but then I take an 11 1/2 or 12 depending on maker.The only down side and my reason for 4 stars is that the exposed hooks on the velcro that are not covered when the shoe is on collect any material they come in contact with.This leaves a 2 inch fuzz strip along the out side of the sandel.

Only down side is that the top leather straps stretch over time.

It would be great if the straps could be stitched so a person could cut off the stretched length without hurting their purpose or design.

That said, with three adjustable straps rather than the two in the quarter strap Rockport, among others, better materials, leather footbed rather than fabric, a quality synthetic sole rather than rubber while not Mephisto a better choice than many others.

A costly lesson learned - Inspect your purchases for defects & damages.

There's a metallic silver Sharpie marker line drawn thru the RYKA logo on the side of sandal & besides the logo is a tear in the thick rubber strap that forms down to meet the footbed Over 3 months have passed, therefore it's far too late to return the defective sandals for a refund.
