THEY STINK

As soon as I inserted my foot in to the sandal, it was very comfortable.

I would say there as nice as my outdoor Sketcher sandals.

I would purchase the navy with silver-contrast-strap if it had a navy outsole--the white outsole makes them too casual to be useful in my wardrobe.

The sole is completely flat with no arch support.

That strap won’t fit on days when my feet are big.

The Dottle 3 sandals have arch support that feels like a soft pillow cushioning my arches as I walk.

Both the all-back sandals and the ivory with gold-contrast-strap are elegant choices that I’ve worn all summer.

although I’ve had no trouble with the Velcro coming undone on these sandals.

I hope Easy Spirit continues to offer variations on the Dottle 3 sandals (turquoise and a Crimson dark-red would be lovely) in future seasons:  I’d buy them every year!

I wore my Ivory pair for a week in Disneyworld in June and for 2-3 mile daily walks for the remainder of the summer--they’re divinely comfortable.

but, Skechers have really skimped on the Velcro, consequently they kept coming undone.

However, the middle strap was not long enough to meet the Velcro fastening.

These SKETCHERS are ½ the price  -And, ROCKPORT just went to a stooopid (yes: STOOOPID) double Velcro strap across the heal, with many of the same issues I have with these.

My BIG complaint:  The Velcro on the straps.

The Velcro portion on the sandal itself, and not on the strap itself, is not long enough.

There is not enough coverage, on any of the straps (and there are three on these sandals) to hold the strap in fully affixed and flush to the sandal itself.

And, each and every time, it continually pulls at the Velcro.

BUT:  The heal strap does not come up high enough (like close to the Achilles) and so it keeps slipping down towards the heal.

Two Monthos of wear and the buckle on the side broke?!!

It was hard to find the sandals in large sizes,

I foun the sandals larger, than normal, so a smaller size is recommended.

Best Sandal I've Ever Owned
Not only is the sandal comfortable, it is sturdy enough to climb in, and it is flexible enough to put a 3/8" lift inside the foot-pan of the right sandal, after adding a little velcro to the top under-strap, to account for my shorter right leg.

A real advantage, since adding a 3/8" lift to the bottom of a sandal, as I've done for years to my other sandals/shoes, is a much more expensive solution!

Reasonable amount of arch support for sandals
These sandals have sufficient arch support to help keep my plantar fasciitis at bay.

This is not a problem with these Sandals.

I have a high instep and strap was not long  enough to use

They will not last long
After only a few walks, I can clearly see the outsoles taking a beating.

They always make wonderful shoes, I have been wearing their shoes, sneakers and sandals since I was a child as I grew up in Europe and they were always sold there.


My husband asked for old man sandals and these fit the bill for him.

I wear it most of the time and i cant even wear normal slides after wearing this because it feels like the others have no support what so ever.

Probably wouldn’t wear them out and about because they can feel chunky and unstable because of the softness.

Got a 12 (I wear 13) and I feel like certain aspects are not like a normal fit.

I’m hesitant to say how comfortable they are yet or not as I just received and started wearing this evening and may have a rubbing issue all the way back towards my heal(the top part of these slides covers a much larger portion of your foot than I’m used to with slides).

Also, if it is 100 plus degrees where you live like me and you plan on wearing these without socks, they do make your feet sweat and they do become a bit slippery inside where your foot meets the shoes, which could be a safety issue for some so thought I would mention it.

but even the length on the smaller size wasn’t right, so I would stick to your true size, especially if you have wide feet.

but the heel seems very crammed (narrow).

The width almost could not accommodate my swollen feet,

however is just enough, so someone with narrow feet would be swimming in these.

The length even though half a size larger than my normal is almost too short,

I’m afraid if you size down to accommodate for that, the length would be way too short!

Feels good to walk in for your daily home movement (nothing like exercise).

Comfortable walking sandals
I bought these to wear on hot days while walking with my wife, we do (nearly) daily 1/2 mile walks to help her get exercise.

These are comfortable for this and seem very durable.
