The plastic lace tightener clamps both broke in less than one month of daily wear.

The 2 straps that goes around your ankle to hold them on your foot are Velcro tabs, and also have a size, I would like them be a bit tighter around the heel

but if I pull the strap to the desire tightness there is no Velcro to hold it in that position because we have gone past the connecting tab.

I still think my shoes are more comfortable then these, and the latching straps are not very thick which seems odd to me,

but the nature of the straps annoyed my feet slightly but not enough that I didn’t want to continue to wear them.

They’re a bit short on strap comfort for me, though.

Cons: - I got the size 12 and they're a bit large on me.

I'm usually a size 11.5-12, so they run a little large.

I’m guessing the toe cap on these Golden Camel ones, which are promoted as sandals specifically for hiking, protects one’s toes from being struck during a hike.

Took them for a bicycle ride, long walks, driving, working in the yard, and wore them for hours on end just doing whatever.
