but it's definitely not leather - the welt is a fake welt, meaning the stitching does not hold the bottom of the boot to the top of the boot in any way, making it worse than a welted boot and worse than a cemented boot due to the lack of a cup sole and smaller surface area for the glue to hold - the heel area is a weird shape (for my foot) making the heel quite uncomfortable - the inner heel counter is so short that the wear that it is supposed to prevent is right on the top of the counter, making it wear the lining material above the counter and making the counter dig into your heel - the loop in the tongue the laces run through in addition to not having any speed hooks makes it hard to put on and take off and - whatever liner is used inside the boot in combination with the outer leather makes the boot not breathe at all.

The tread on the bottom CONSTANTLY gets pebbles lodged in it.

My feet end up a sweaty mess after about an hour of very light work. - the lasting process is slightly uneven giving the toes a slightly weird shape (cosmetic)

This boot is a nubuck-type finish that is well insulated for winter wear and has proven to be watertight in my experience.

This is a nice pair of boots, waterproof and warm.

Pros: - they are technically functional boots that will protect your feet for a while.

The is a very high-quality boot that I can wear for dog training or just out with jeans or cords.

Great for work and dont look like work boots.
