Tight around my calves
I usually wear a size 8.5

I should have paid more attention to the size chart because when I measure my foot from heel to toe it’s 9.25” which should have been a size 7 or 8 to be safe.

but insoles are cheap
These boots run big, I’m debating keeping because I ordered the smallest size and they are so big.

But if I had of ordered my usual size 8 I'm sure I would have had to send them back (being to small).

Luckily I was able to return and reorder the correct size.

The glitter on the rain boots are SO CUTE.

They fit as expected and the girls love the glittery look and the little handles that make it easy to carry and put on.

My daughter loves these boots they came just in time for rainy season.

The boots run true to size and have a padded insole which also looks to be removable.

Not much of a plastic smell and the side hooks are great for helping to put the boot on the foot with ease.

The only thing that bothers me is the buckle and strap DO NOT stay.

The strap always falls out of the buckle and then makes a clinking sound when they walk.

Constantly putting the strap back on, which annoys me, not the kids.

The fastener on the buckle (where it’s connected to the boot) needs to be tighter so that it doesn’t spin around, causing the strap to fall.

Decent boots
I have a pair of kamik boots for myself which I love.


I keep repeating on Kamik boots for my daughter as they fit a more narrow calf and foot well and don't seem to fall out as others do.

The insole rapidly fell apart and the lining tore, making a big mess after a couple of weeks.

Second, and worse, very small cracks formed in the soles - making them useless in wet conditions.I gave up on this pair for good when water started coming in the sides, as well.

i'm knocking off a star because the lining - and the attached insole - of one boot likes to come out still attached to my foot.


They’re tight, you may want to order a size bigger

However when I tried to put my size 10 on, I could only get it about 1/2 way up my calf before it got stuck.

Also, I should point out that it's hard to find men's sizes in this type of boot from ANY vendor, at least at the moment.

but I can't recommend them for anyone planning to have them in contact with the ground for any length of time.

So word to the wise, if you have any muscle on your calves, these will not fit you.

A minor nuisance, and one that I only deal with when I wear certain pants tucked into the boots, making the fit tighter than usual.

Unfortunately, as a short guy (5'7") with a big foot (10.5), I'm plauged by boots fitting perfectly in the foot, and being GIGANTIC in the shin/calf region (I seriously looked like a kid tromping around in his dad's boots).

Not really a fan of the lining as its bright orange and this type of lining always pulls out eventually.

But upon trying them on, I saw a pair of Han Solo boots turn into just a pair of really nice rain boots.

So what we have is really nice looking, well shaped and well-built rain boots, if that's what you're after.

I gave these 4 Stars because they seem to be a quality boot,

Best of all, a great deal - about a quarter of what you'd pay for a similar pair of Le Chameau or Aigle boots.

but from far away they do look like authentic riding boots.

When I received the boots, I really liked the look and build, including the (orange) lining on the inside.

The general curve of the boots is really suggestive of some good styling.

Great boot, as long as you're tall/large enough.

Boots look great, and construction is great as well.
