Stiff and still unsupportive
Admittedly, I was looking for a bargain,

The soles are inflexible and still don’t give me the high arch support I was looking for.

The entire slipper has a very stiff ridge around it.

but the softness has worn off after a few months of wearing them (as expected) they were a bit stiff and needed to be broken in for optimum comfort.

Unfortunately, they do fit a bit loosely and if my foot slips out of it and I happen to step on the edge, it is as painful as if it was lego!

I do not recommend buying these for people who have heal spurs or arch support problems.

These were so soft and warm in the beginning.

These slippers may be better than my B”s as I have had no foot pain which sometimes happens with my orthotics and other slippers after extended wear.

but the shoes really have a normal size, so the ones I asked for are bigger than they should.If you usually fit 11, don't ask for a 11,5. buy 11 and they will fit you well.

The only disadvantage is that the sole does not last too long.

If there is a way to improve the durability of the bottom of the shoe it would perfect.

My feet are not wide by any means, so it was disappointing to have this issue.

but it is really hard to wear them for any period of time.

Got here earlier than the expected delivery date too.

I just yank out the inner liner (which is easy to do--unlike when it was American Built) and install a Birkenstock insole. I have the best of both worlds: my Chucks (good for 2-3 years) with the comfort of Birks (even better than the comfort of the original USA Chucks.)
