Top of toe design very poor
I wanted the top of the toe design to be clearly noticed as it is part of the western design.

Both boots tops look like they were "stamped" instead of tan colored stitching that should show thru the leather tops on the toes as seen in the photo.

I am  VERY dissapointed that the top toe western design is so poor - non existant!

Did try before you buy three different Ariat boots and this one was so small I couldn't even put it on despite being the same women's size 9.

I'm a fan of taller cowboy boots so I returned it,

Great for a Shorter boot
I loved the color of this boot and it was comfortable.

These do NOT have a slick leather sole, thank goodness.

The material of the sole is fantastic, non slip, quiet and cushioned feeling.

I like that they have a shorter shaft than a more traditional style boot,

but if you like shorter ones, I would definitely reccommend!

but I really wish I'd ordered at least a 1/2 size bigger.

though maybe a touch smaller than a normal size 7.

If you wear thick socks, you probably will need to order a size and a half up.

With Winter socks on they're a bit snug so order up at least a size or a bit more.

I ordered my typical US shoe size 8.5.

I think ordering a half size up might have still been too big.

The problem is that my toes go right to the tip, even without wearing socks.

I tried them on without socks and they were a little snug.

So come winter with thermal socks might be a little tight fit.

However, the sole is a little hard, looks more like plastic than rubber, and I'm not sure how long it will last.

I didn't appreciate that they didn't arrive inside a box, just wrapped in a plastic bag; a very cheap affair, certainly not the way to make a good first impression.

They are easy to put on and take off with the inside zipper and the shorter length.

I am currently wearing them with heavy socks, and my feet are not sliding around.

They fit well, and the feet slip in easily.

Outside is water repellent with slip resistant soles.

Beautiful and warm
Soft lining on the inside will keep your feet warm.

The lining on the outside is waterproof, which is good for the winters here in Chicago (rain/snow mixture).

Soft fleece runs throughout the inside of the shoe making it very soft, warm and comfortable.

These boots arrived today, and I love them!

I ordered the red boots, and I think they are really cute.

Overall, average quality boots that will get the job done.

Runs small
As others have said, they run small.

Sizing
Run a bit small - hopefully will stretch with use

Way too small
I wear a 9.5 Nike shoe, sometimes a 9.0.

Size runs small had to return 10s and get 11s.

this is the only reason i returned 3 prs of these boots to get the right fit!!!


What I disliked was, I had to pay $25:00 postage to return them..

I'm sure had there have been a problem, amazon would have gladly exchanged the item!

I ordered a 1/2 size larger and it is still a tight fit.

Last Words: If you really want to be on the safe side, I'd order a size bigger for the time being, and I will retract this if the shoes break in over time and it's no longer an issue where my toes poke slightly at the tip of the boot when walking.

It seems that the maker is making them much smaller than before bc we have been wearing bp for years and only had to go up 1/2 -1 size in the boots (i.e.

Great as slippers
Replaced some very old shorter uggs with these.

These are a few inches taller which helps them be warmer and never slide off unexpectedly.


They are amazing and so comfortable to wear

When I slipped them on my feet, they felt very snug, warm and just how you'd expect walking on clouds to feel.

The bottom of the boot appears to be nice and sturdy, hoping it'll hold up for 2 winters and even spring if used a moderate amount of times.

Ordered TWO pairs of these boots and BOTH cracked within 6 months
How very disappointing since Hunter brand boots are at a price point where I expected quality, and a true rainboot I'd enjoy for years.

But that didn't upset me -- no big deal..  What was surprising/upsetting is the rubber cracking which appeared six months in.

Same deal -- not even six months later the cracking started :-(  I LOVED these boots --

Like walking in Herman Munster shoes
I am keeping these only to use them when I'm outside shoveling a lot of snow they're just so stiff it's hard to walk in them I feel like Herman Munster from the show The Munsters

but my calf size is too big for the Hunter Original and it would’ve been a little too tall for me (short people problem).

but I wish I would’ve gone a size down.

So disppointing..  Are these not true Hunter boots?

I am also shorter, only 5'2", so the height is perfect..comes up to about mid-calves- below the knees.

They arrived quickly and I wore the first pair during rainy spring/rainy summer days since they are light and easy to slip on & off.

This rainbow is the most comfortable rainbows I've ever worn.

It has a softer material than most rainbows so that makes walking in them much more comfortable.

Based off other reviews it was suggested to order a 1/2 size down, I’m glad I did because they fit perfectly!

We've owned several pair of these boots and the kids love them.

but otherwise these keep my feet warm and dry when I am hauling in fire wood or doing outdoor chores or whatever.

They seem to keep their feet warm even during our Minnesota winters.
