In particular, the soles and waterproofing were perfect for a very wet cave hike.

but I find that support a bit harsh on my feet over time. The major dislike for me is that the close fit causes the fuzzy lining to pull down my socks (unless I have tall socks on.)

Ankle height or shorter socks end up balled up under the arch of my foot after walking for just a short time.

but have not been totally pleased with these sock killers.

Take a 7 wide, ordered 7 1/2 wide and I Just got my foot in, there was literally no room for even the thinnest dress sock, never mind a warmer sock one might want to wear in boots, so obviously can't speak as to whether they are comfortable after wearing for a while.

Although my foot with a thin sock fits for length, there's nothing extra; between that and the snugness in the bunion area, I have to return them, alas.

I couldn't get the zipper up and down on the right boot.

The warm liner had not been trimmed and it was catching in the zipper, I spent a lot of time with tiny zissors to trim all that fuzz away, and still if caught.

Comfortable had to size up and I have a narrow foot half a size .

I typically have to wear a thicker sock with an 11, so I figured that these boots would work well, even with some of the reviews cautioning to go up 1/2 size, and I was optimistic about the rounded toe, as I appreciate a generous toe box (but I don't need wide width overall).

They are thick and they swell during the day, particularly if I am wearing flats.

My feet does still swell with these, so I won't be able to wear them like the slip on sneakers,
