The top where the black trim is located is a bit stiff at first,

I've had a lot of Dr. Marten boots over the years.

I love that you can take off the zipper in the front if you don't need it.

but I love the side zipper to get them on and off instead of having to use laces.

I laced them the standard way and they look very cute.

They really are so stylish - classic Doc Marten's with a twist.

If you have wide feet i dont recommend because they are super narrow.

I didn't realize the front part also has clear plastic, so your feet are protected from the front straps.

The plastic parts are also surprisingly soft and thick, so feels very durable.
