I admit I despise Velcro fastenings on almost anything, mainly because we have a kitty and her fur gets everywhere, and especially prone to sticking to those pesky little hooks.

Minuses: lacking arch support and foot stability/balance seem a bit off; synthetic material is not too pleasant to bare skin making you want to wear socks.

I imagine the sole could ‘collect’ anything jagged or sharp if you were unlucky enough to tread on it, then potentially scratching or marking your floors when you get back home.

These slippers been reasonably okay for me it took some getting used to at first

However, they do make these slippers adjustable

Once I’d found the “sweet spot” on each slipper, I started walking around and discovered these to be supremely comfortable and - surprisingly - more supportive than I imagined they might be.

There’s a small “hug” of support towards the back of the heel which keeps the foot (mainly) inside the slipper.

My husband loves these slip ons, The memory foam feels so go on his feet, And he is pretty picky about his foot ware,

I did find these to be VERY easy to just slip my feet into in the early hours of the morning after waking up for my “bedtime bathroom break”, padding quietly to the toilet so as to not wake the missus.

UPDATE: after wearing these for a few long days in spring, I'm disappointed.

but they squeak when I walk and also show a gap on the sides of my foot.

Not as comfortable as I had thought (pinch and rub in back) and they also have poor support on sides (foot appears to turn sideways) Lastly, after 1 accidental stumble on the sidewalk, the rose gold already chipped off.

These shoes are as comfortable as slippers.
