I wish these boots had higher quality laces out of the box, considering how much they cost.

I then thought of how great an idea the moccasins would be , googled it , found these , my wife ordered them from here and have zero regrets , fit true to size , feel amazing ,fair price (even better when your job reimburses youost of it )  don't even notice I have them on let alone took them off at the end of the day ,look good there perfect .

I was standing at work one night shooting the breeze with my boss complaining about how my feet feel after taking my boots off after a long work day .

We have bought so many expensive work boots and these are the most comfortable and sturdy

Propper Men's Series 100 8" Side Zip Waterproof Boot

The design of the side zip and upper of this boot is beyond stupid.

The zipper starts fairly high up above the sole which limits the width that the boot upper opens to put on.

The interior lining "flap" under the zipper is sized so small that the opening of the upper is again limited.

You CANNOT lace these boots and then just use the side zipper to put them on or off.

This defeats the entire purpose of side zip boots to avoid lacing the EVERY time.

I wish propper would fix this and put some memory foam in that area or something… for now moleskin it is!

Addtionally, the waterproof liner (it's not a Gore-tex) is loosely stiched in the boot.

I wear Darn Tough socks which usually prevent all blisters - except this type.
