the way they are packed, there is a price of cardboard that creases the insole in a weird way that gives it a sharp edge that poke your foot when you wear it!

Had to do some “manipulating” to make the insole comfy!

Only problem that bothered me is the sole.

The soles on these sneakers hold cinders from the street - very hard to remove the cinders from the soles.

Oddly constructed, for my foot anyway
I usually wear a 10 and had to send back and get an 11.

But the distance from the strap between the toes to the end of the front is one and a half inches versus the two inches of other flip flops I've worn, and as a result, they're aren't comfortable because my toes hang off the front while there is too much space between my heel and the end of the flip-flop.

There is about a week to two week break in period where if you go on long walks with them you'll get some blisters.

However, I feel that the footbed itself is far too narrow and over articulated in terms of its natural curvature.

Well Cushioned, Too Narrow
These are incredibly comfortable in terms of the cushioning of the footbed.

I like the look, and it seems, as far as the sole, that they would be comfortable.

They have a lovely soft footbed & they are in his go to style for summer holidays & round the garden in the summer.

I rated the width as "somewhat narrow" only because the fit is a bit tight across the top of my foot where the foot strap meets the toe bit across the top of my feet.

From my observation, it's these strap/toe attachments that provide the most give in a flip flop, which means they also tend to be the causal points for over-stretching & making the fit too loose & extra-floppy.

That in particular is when they fit too tightly.

What I did notice tho is that driving seems to cause some stretching at the sides where the cross straps meet the foot bed, which  does seem to affect the way they fit.

Another reviewer mentioned theirs had stretched out too much & now fit too loosely.

Doesn't matter how much any manufacturer says their shoe material is such that it does not compress over time- the more weight that those shoes have to carry around, the more (and faster) they will compress down (test subjects most likely being of "average" weight). Definitely affects the length of life one can expect from ANY shoes (I have found this out after having gained 50 pounds over the past 15 yrs- shoes just don't fit or last the same as when I weighed 120.  )

But if you have a wider foot like myself, they may be a bit snug

but to me, they looked a little funny and wide.

Because I drive an automatic, so I use only my right foot to drive- and it's the right Oofo that has loosened & not the left.

I am pretty sure the manufacturer changed because these are also just a light bit tighter with the strap across the top of my foot.

(sorry Orthaheel- maybe nix those raised foot bed circles & lower your prices, yeah?)

Got so bad I broke down & ordered some of those Dr. Scholl's callus remover pads (stay tuned for my review of those. ;-).

I went for a walk the other day in these flip flops, which I never would have done in my Reefs and would have put on sneakers, and it felt great.

I have Brooks sneakers and maybe because they're worn out, the Oofos flip flops feel better than them!

He suggested these flip flops and said they're great and much better than what I was wearing, since I was wearing a pair of Reefs with only a small arch.

And yet, they had the best arch support I could find in a flip flop- at that time, anyway.

The Oofos have superior arch support that extends under the metatarsal area- a part sorely in need of arch support and yet usually overlooked by flip flop/sandal designers (ok, at least the ones I'm familiar with. ).

I started wearing them around the house and got used to the look of them and then realized why my doctor recommended them.

but not so much that it's uncomfortable and they are so soft on my feet that I wear them around the house all the time instead of going barefoot.

Because I wear them so much now, the plantar fasciitis is basically gone.

When these arrived, I opened the box/bag (minimal odor that dissipated in just a few minutes), took off the Orthaheel Waves I was wearing, and put these on: it was literally like stepping from concrete onto the cushiest thing you could ever find!

After wearing these all day every day for the past wks, I haven't noticed a substantial amount of stretching happening in that area just from walking.

This issue is not deterring me from wearing these, or from buying more in the future.

The painful calluses I got from those Orthaheels initially stopped hurting as long as I was wearing my Oofos,

Now I have no foot pain when not wearing Oofos  as well as having no pain when wearing them.

I am guessing because of the arch support I am not leaning forward too much and my hips feel better aligned.

They are also good for wearing around the house, arches feel better.


Incredibly comfy - encourages wearer to walk rolling through the foot, heel to toe.

The material these are made from has a somewhat sticky quality to it in the sense that they seem to want to adhere to the feet, which seems to me to be another factor in the tightness of the fit at the toe bit strap: they "stick" to the tops of my feet- which is great as far as keeping them from trying to fall off as I walk,

The only DOWNSIDE is that my feet are a little wider then the average bear and it did take roughly 12-18 hours of having them on my feet for the leather to stretch to where I can slide them on and off without reaching down and pulling it onto my foot.

I’ve been buying my kids Carters flip flops for years,

Sturdier flip flop not the average cheap styles.

Perfect fit & greatgrandson says they are very comfortable.
