Love that these are short enough to slip on easily with one hand (or no hands if slightly unzipped) yet are high enough to walk to my car without getting snow inside on an average Northern Michigan winter day.

Good Cold Weather Boot
Good cold weather boot, fits well with a pair of heavier socks and keeps my feet warm without overheating.

Grip is okay on ice and they are water resistant, so a bit of slush won't hurt

I think they'll be just fine for rainy Pacific NW weather.

Much Nicer for a Better Price
This is the second pair of Easy Spirit  Embark boots that I ordered from Amazon.

I really like my boots they keep my feet warm.

Comfortable in all the right places, very attractive and easy to put on and take off.

I can't seem to take them off, they are so comfy.

So loose in the heel that I easily slipped these boots off without unzipping.

Boots felt very tight across the top of toe area yet my heel came right out of the back.

but short in length, and tight in the heel and width in my usual size.

The height at the ankle was also hitting me in an odd spot, so I had to return.
