but not as long as I expected, only bought them because they were U.K. size 10.5 in a wide fit, still fit a bit big and are average really, only good thing was the price to get that size trainer

but fit narrow for me and I have very wide feet.

Asics seems to be making their shoes a bit narrower, and the width of the new shoes is about a quarter of an inch less than my Gel Venture 7's.

however they are making them a bit narrower now for some reason.

but the forefoot is wider in the Venture 8 even though both shoes are extra wide size.

The shoe laces that come with these are thick and round and I didn't like them.

These had a serious design flaw in that the back of the sole at the heel stuck out really far.

Without the factory footbed I was able to fit the heavy Superfeet Copper Insole and it's just great to be able to fit those in there with a fair amount of sock.

I also modify the insole with a pad for Morton's Toe and there is no issue with room for all that sock, insole and pad in the roomy toe box.

What a relief to find such a good pair of Asics at such a good price, the right color and so much good room in the toe box for the insoles and socks.

ASICS are the only sneakers I wear - they give comfort and support for my somewhat flat feet.

I have flat feet so I found even that was not enough, the Spenco's are a game changer and cured my plantar fasciitis.

A-Bit Snug Size Wise
Always buy ASICS and these are decent,

but great traction and comfortable right out of the box.

I wear these to play disc golf and they give good support and are comfortable and stable on rough trails.

I’m working 8 to 12 hrs a day mostly walking and standing and I need a good and comfortable shoes

but much more comfortable to walk in because the sole flexes more.

but I'd be willing to bet you would find the Venture 8 to be a much more comfortable shoe for walking or running.

Even so, the Gel Venture 8's all still comfortable and in my opinion a nicer looking shoe with a much more cushioned ride, also a more aggressive tread pattern for a trail running/walking.

These arrived today, and I'm very happy with them.

I don't think they look any bulkier or different than women's Asics.

The laces that come with the boot failed after 1 week.

I must edit this in light of recent New Balance purchase.

I ordered a full size larger than my usual shoe size and the fit is perfect with thin socks.

Don't really need heavy socks due to the ample insulation.

The built in arch support is perfect for my flat feet.

A pair of $7 Hon Plume inserts for flat feet makes these one of the most comfortable pairs of footwear my feet have had the pleasure of wearing.

These boots fit and are very comfortable.

If these Grition hiking boots don't fall apart I will buy at least one more pair and recommend them to everyone I see on the trail.

So first off the boots were delivered in 2 days as expected!

Second straight out of the box the boot look and feel really sturdy and well made and they appear to be waterproof.

So all in all so far i have to give these boots 5 stars for expectation and my experience.

they will be great for walking my dog round the park in winter time  hopefully they will fulfill their job of being comfortable warm and waterproof.

They fit great and are very sturdy and stylish.

They look adorable and I love that it has removable socks as we live in Florida so we have alot of rainy weather with not as much cold weather so the socks tend to be too warm

My daughter is 4 1/2, slim with somewhat long flat feet, got size11, she has plenty of room for growth & for thick socks.

The price was great, they did great in the snow, no wet socks, no complaints of cold toes, & super cute leopard pattern.

Great Design and comfortable for my niece she love them and always wanted to wear them.

Never complained about discomfort or water seeping in.

I’ve been wearing these for about 8 or 9 months and despite my first impressions they’ve won out after trying several other brands.

They’re comfy, have the best fit and the construction/ materials have held up to general waking around the house, porch occasionally the garage.

The fit is the best over any other sm/med/ lg options.

but the snug fit, cozy liner and thicker sole are exactly what I bought them for and they worked beautifully for me.

However, I ordered this this shoe a half size up in a wide to accommodate thick socks and found the fit to be perfect.

One disadvantage of wearing a wide shoe is the lack of options in the stores.

It's a soft shoe, and after a few weeks of wearing it - maybe 3 or 4 times per week - it is starting to look a little sloppy already, creases in the leather across the uppers.

If I had gone by the common street shoe rule (which is to buy a woman's shoe 2 sizes larger than her shoe size in kids, aka for her what would have been a size 4.5 Womans) then this particular shoe would have been too small and too tight on her toes.

So this shoe seems to run at least a half size small, because her shoe size in this shoe is 2.5 sizes larger than her child shoe size.

Next time I would order a half size bigger than my usual size.

I bought these shoes for an after school theatre class my daughter was doing.

This really is a great dance shoe, if you can call it that, because the shoe really fits as a tight sock.
