I would advise ordering a half size down, at least.

You can't take a shoe company seriously when they can't size their product properly.

However they are waaaaay too long for a size 9.

I'm a size 10 and they're too long for me too!!

If you need something to slip your feet into at 3 in the morning to go to the bathroom, you will need something else because these require you to pull open, then close the Velcro to put them on.

The leather is much classier looking and I don’t have to wear socks due to soft lining with the leather version.

After bunion surgery, my foot was very swollen.

They fit my swollen foot and are very comfortable on my other foot.

The only thing I don’t like is that the lace is so long with Velcro on the end.

but the velcro straps are a bit long on me and nearly drag on the ground when fastened.

but twice while wearing them the straps came undone.

I would have given A better rating except for the strap situation.

but it was not to be. I got them on, but the velcro barely closed, and I knew that if my feet swelled (which they do!)

Also the heel is a bit higher than some of my other jambu shoes, so they chafe a bit and I can't wear them as long as my other pairs.

The past couple pairs of shoes from this brand don't seem to meet the standards of those I've gotten before and the soles wear out very quickly.

but ultimately can’t wear them without blister protection.

I probably won't be wearing these as water shoes (although they are advertised as such).

For size reference I usually wear a 5 1/2 and these are a 6.

but stiff in fit and the bottoms had no grip, I slid around.

but JMBU seems to have adopted the same sole that Keen uses, which is just too high in the back and rubs on my Achilles tendon.

Someone with average arches would probably be thrilled with these shoes, I was a bit heartbroken and had to return them.

They were great for lots of walking when it’s too hot to want socks, and you might get wet.

They are very light weight, I wear them over thin cotton dress socks.

2022 - 2 years on and the shoe fits looser as they DO STRETCH with time and swelling feet, even around the opening of the shoe itself gradually stretched over time so that it is too loose over the entire box of the shoe now that my feet are not as swollen

but as soon as I put them on my feet were sweating!

but ordered size 8-1/2 which fits perfect but a first I thought I wouldn't be able to wear socks cuz it would be too tight but they stretch nice and are actually very comfortable even with socks.

The shoes accommodate my wide and thick instep (box of the shoe is deep) so they fit really well even with my slightly narrower orthopedic insoles, and there is enough room if my feet are a bit swollen.


These are very comfortable shoes and fit true to size.
