I am a schoolteacher and I can wear these boots all day.

The first time I wore them I walked for about half an hour and they didn’t cause any rubbing or blistering so I’m happy.

However, after wearing it 2-3 times the stitching has already come undone and there is foam coming out of the sides.

Going back: too narrow (even larger size) and quality not equal to price. Sad.

The narrower width sole is already putting some pressure on my instep.

but is perhaps too wide and roomy around the ankle.

I ordered size small and they barely fit my 5.5 foot.

They are a bit snug as they don't come in real sizes

I returned them about 2 weeks ago, indicating I would like a size 9.

Acknowledge of the return with an indication of either a refund or when I will receive the larger size is warranted.

The tag on the inside of the shoes (another 1/2 mark off for using those stiff, scratchy tags that will rub on the back of my heel, sigh) says it's a Large (9-10).

Length is a bit long -- expected since I ordered Large --

but thought they would "relax" a bit after wearing but it hasn't happened yet.

There are three of those little plastic fastener doo-dads that hold the shoes together and they're short, making it a little tough to find them, hold them together, and cut them apart to get the shoes on, and tricky to make sure I don't lose any of that plastic trash.

I pull out the cardboard toe forms, a handful of loose fuzz from the fake fur/fleece lining comes out of each shoe.

but I suspect they'd stretch a bit with wear -- maybe even lose some of their shaping, but that's a guess based on what they feel like, not on actual experience with these shoes.

Tell me how both these shoes (same company, same style) are supposed to be the same size, yet are completely different.
