walking

although it doesn’t seem like it should be this way, I’m going to be walking around as if they were wet tennis shoes all day long.

Since I walk back and forth to beach over long stretches of white sand and then play / swim with my family, this shoe is not an option.

The middle of of the sole is concave that causes misalignment of the foot, or rather the ankle, when walking on hard surface.

The ankle will tilt either inward, or outward due to the concave sole, and the walking isn't that comfortable for this reason.

Walking in dry sand with the damp shoes will pick up the sand all over the shoes.

When dry, the shoes retain heat from the feet and feels hot due to the spongy mesh, if and when walking on hard surface even for a half an hour.

but you will get lit on fire when hot beach sand permeates up through the vents on the soles.

There is a tendency for large pebbles to get wedged in large holes on the sole.

The outer sole with all of the holes everywhere will pick up small rocks.

Con’s - if you get them wet, they will not dry while you wear them.

This means they are uncomfortable, then start to stink rather quickly while being non washable.

The drying time for these water shoes is long, in 13 hours (overnight) the shoes were still damp.

Another issue those vent holes present are being too numerous to provide real protection from potential beach hazards like sea glass, old treble hooks, jagged shells, jellyfish, etc.

They are very light, soft and comfortable, almost like wearing nothing on your feet.

They are snug, and breathable, they will not slip off, and I have the support I need to climb ladders, get under bushes, etc.

The Aleader is a vented water shoe, which breathes and my feat don’t get uncomfortable.

The Aleader is actually as comfortable as going barefoot, does not mar floors, can handle wet mopping, chemicals cleaners and appears extremely durable.


I've worn these multiple times now in the rain and in water they are remarkably comfortable and they stay very firmly on my feet I'm really impressed with them Id  like to get another pair maybe lace up ones next time they're ideal for a warm climate where it rains seasonally.

They are comfortable, seemingly well constructed and serve they original intent of using it in water.

I do have sausage toes so the strap over the toes squeezed my pinky toe a little

but the other straps that go across the top of the foot were loose.


The strap is super short and I have the skinniest ankles on the planet.

The straps were not equally made and so some straps are looser where they should be tight and some are tight where they should be loose.

It’s almost like the strap was too far up on the toes.

It did not get a 5th star because the strap is hard to latch on.. yes!

As a side note I didn't really like the shoe that much overall just because it seems to lack structure and it runs a little bit longer than usual for the size I get.


Too big, my size is a 10 so i don't know why they are big.


Please purchase a size bigger than you are!

The only issue..if you wear no-show socks, the back of the shoe, the top part that rests above your heel, can rub a blister because it is a little stiff at first.

After 3 hours wear, I found minor creasing in the heel of the sole ( hard to see in the photos).

When I wear my arch support, the toe box then becomes unbearably tight.

The only complaint I have is that they have this weird offset tongue that sometimes won't stay in place as you lace them up.

When I got them I noticed that one of the loops for the shoelace was ripped halfway off of the shoe and even had a tag wrapped inside of the loop that said "defect" on it.

I love these shoes.

Strength and comfort
This shoe is one of the best Nike I ever owned it's very comfortable and the strength of the material is great would highly recommend it to people.

For the average male foot wearing fitness socks, I can see this fitting snug in the toe box since it is already snug on me.

I use them mainly for walking around the neighborhood and I can't stress how it light and airy these feel.


The soll has a gel like feeling when you walk and the shoes are very light

The sole is very “reactive” and gives you that bounce.

The creasing is not nearly as bad as the lunarlite soles when those shoes first came out.
