I bought these boots during the peak of the pandemic to find out the size was wrong.

I tried talking to Amazon and Dr. Martens and both refuse to exchange my boots for a larger size because I am out of the time frame for returns.

There customer service is horrible and patronizing.

The thick sole isn’t clunky or too heavy.

but after painfully bearing blisters total discomfort I decided to buy these again in a 9 US and with inserts they are so comfortable out of the box I feel like I can run in them.

They were instantly comfortable and never had to break them in and now I wear them all the time!

I love the matte black look and these are super comfy.

I wear a US women’s 10 and I ordered a women’s 10 and they fit perfectly.

Vegan made all the difference in my purchase and loved that they had a matte black pair.

even though I can’t return the smaller pair, the purchase is worth it.

My heel would slip out and they seemed particularly wide even in the M width.

The laces are a lower grade leather or they may have just been really dry and twisted.

The insoles have a comfortable padding and the tongue is thick and padded.

Oh so comfortable
I've been wearing Mephisto shoes for twenty years.

With or without socks they are comfortable.
