I am giving it 4 stars because the sandal is rubbing the skin raw on my right foot so I am having to wear socks.

They are made thicker and really cushion the foot as I walk, cook, and clean on my ceramic tile floors.

Crocs Women's Classic Platform Flip Flop

These flip flops were slippery under my feet and I had to scrub them with Comet cleanser and a green scrubby to rough them up.

I had to buy a gel piece to fit on shoe to get some traction

They are just barely wide enough for my size 7 1/2 feet and the straps rub on them. Overpriced.

I work outside all day , These are so comfortable and the thicker sole is great .

I have neuropathy in my right foot and these are wonderful to walk on.

but Straps aren't Stiff Enough
I really like the Vibrum soles of these flip flops (slippers for those in Hawaii), but the nylon webbing on the straps is too thin, and I often have a difficult time sliding my feet under the straps without having to lift up the straps to guide my feet in.

I'm losing my previous faith in Columbia shoes, because I'm having to return another supposedly waterproof (but leaking) pair in a warranty claim.

Rocky Tmc Postal-Approved Plain Toe Oxford Shoe

but there are only 4 lacing eyes and the lacing is short and starts far back from the toe.

This contradicts the "mountaineering boot" tread as the lacing does not provide enough support to make more extreme terrain comfortable.

I just want to exchange the defective pair for new ones and return defective, easy peasy.

Will return through Amazon and buy direct from Rocky.

They seem to be a little on the wide size and they are kind of heavy.

but lose their shine after awhile even when using polish.

I walk/stand for about 8 hours.

but after 4 days, the sole separated at the edge from the shoe.

I have tried other"postal shoes" and these have what I consider thicker soles and it seems to be the key to making these shoes comfortable for me.

The Non-Plain shoes are better on steep terrain and I now use them to walk my dog and use these Plain-Toe shoes for work.

I have to say that they are the most safe and "aggressive" pair of low quarter work shoes I have ever owned.

I stated "aggressive" because, in spite of their oxford nature, these shoes get a solid grip on the ground which gives them good ankle support.
