4-5 months and I've got seems splitting, soles separating , or eyelets torn out.

My only complaint, that may not be a complaint for everyone, would be a little better cushioned insole.

Furthermore, the inset padding is basic and sole of the boot is too flexible.

When I put my foot on the center stand of my motorcycle to raise it on the stand, I can feel that sole doesn't have the strength to support my body weight.

I can feel the stand pushing up, flexing through the sole of the boot.

These boots feel like the width is definitely off or miss marked.

Be careful what you buy
I usually wear a size 11 in Ariat boots, these run big I would go a half size down.

I returned these and went to lebos to get a different size and they actually say waterproof on them.

The break in process was quick, the insoles are thicker that Dr Scholls inserts I bought so I'm still using them.

but there are only 4 lacing eyes and the lacing is short and starts far back from the toe.

This contradicts the "mountaineering boot" tread as the lacing does not provide enough support to make more extreme terrain comfortable.

I just want to exchange the defective pair for new ones and return defective, easy peasy.

Will return through Amazon and buy direct from Rocky.

They seem to be a little on the wide size and they are kind of heavy.

Sole seperated after 4 days, no callback from seller
I walk/stand for about 8 hours.

but after 4 days, the sole separated at the edge from the shoe.

I have tried other"postal shoes" and these have what I consider thicker soles and it seems to be the key to making these shoes comfortable for me.

I stated "aggressive" because, in spite of their oxford nature, these shoes get a solid grip on the ground which gives them good ankle support.

The Non-Plain shoes are better on steep terrain and I now use them to walk my dog and use these Plain-Toe shoes for work.

I have to say that they are the most safe and "aggressive" pair of low quarter work shoes I have ever owned.
