I got a pain in the arch of my right foot after wearing this for a short while, I also irritated the little toe on my left foot.

It could have been perfect if it had better arch support,

It's impossible to zip these over your legs.

I have an average size leg and I struggled to zip these, these are not well made.

I could only zip them up halfway and was disappointed because they were for my Halloween costume.

The first impression of these wasn’t great as I obviously received a pair that had been previously returned.

I even received the packing slip from the person it was returned from with their full name and address??

Point is, I didn’t buy a used or returned product, so I shouldn’t have received one.

but after wearing them to the nightclub a few times they're already coming apart.

A pair of insoles made them much more comfortable, the first time I wore them my feet were sore after two hours.

If this was better quality would be my dream come true as I wore a pair boots like  this when I was a teenager until it broke down and they are still on my mind all these years.

I then wore them around the house for another hour, breaking in the calves.

but most your try are loose, not only leading to a less than ideal silhouette, but also not nearly as stable to walk on when your leg isn’t hugged firmly.

Plus they're a wet-shiny instead of faded shiny which was a plus.

The material is very shiny pvc, and they seem to be made well.

More about fit if you’re considering:  I’m a true 5 1/2  with thin ankles and legs, and I ordered a six and it fits well with stockings or even thicker knee-high socks and I have room at the bottom and around the heel area for some inserts to make it more comfortable,

Other than that, I think these boots will work well for my cosplay.

And really five stars if you do, because you know how it is to really want to rock a pair of knee-high boots like this

I absolutely loved these boots as soon as I opened them!

I have lots of ideas for costumes and these boots are going to be a great accessory.

Bad: shoes are very stiff and hit my ankles in painful ways.

Even after trying to break these in, the top part is so long and stiff that I feel like my toes are going to snap off.

though Amazon lists free returns, you will be charged a 3rd party 15% restocking fee.

Free returns is a selling point when buying shoes online, so this hidden charge is really frustrating.

(You can only find this fee after you have already completed the return and are ready to print the label. Hmmm.  )


I love Clarke's and usually wear 11 W.  This one was snug, too tight.

I found them to run larger than other boots, I’m a 7.5

The 8 was huge on me so I returned for a 7.5 which fits perfectly.

I have other rhinestone boots from other name brand designers and these are on par with them.

Additionally the inside of the boot is well cushioned and they are very comfortable.
